Amelia Kallendrine was born in a large middle class household with her four siblings in England. At the age of ten, Amelia had immigrated to the US with her family, and had settled in Concordia.
In the years of living in her new settlement, Amelia had quickly gained a spotlight in the show business. Beginning as a simple dancer, things took an unexpected turn when Amelia had fallen in love and eventually wedded with a nobleman at the age of twenty-one.
Her husband’s riches landed Amelia into an even bigger spotlight than before, and she eventually became the ring leader of a local circus. While Amelia had initially found great joy and excitement into her new career; the pressure, expectations, and the rise in cruelty of performers and circus animals had eventually led her to retire after only four years.
Shortly after these events, it then came to light that Amelia had also wished to retire because she had discovered that she was pregnant. She had made the ultimate sacrifice in putting her baby before her career. However, Amelia had sadly ended up suffering a miscarriage. Humiliated at the fact that his wife was unable to bear him a healthy child, or son for that matter, Amelia’s husband left her. He divorced her and removed Amelia’s name from everything that had to do with him.
Losing her husband didn’t deter Amelia too much, for she had then fallen out of love with him. She was more so mournful over her stillborn daughter, whom she was planning to name Catharine. Even with a big pile on her hands, Amelia had pushed herself to start over and get herself a new career. This would eventually lead her into gaining an interest in detective work.
By the age of twenty-nine, Amelia had become an official member of the Concordian Flying Squad. Welcomed with open arms; Amelia began to be referred to as the shortened version of her name, Emily, as she personally felt as if Amelia could be recognized as too formal.
Things would end happily for Amelia, as she went on to have a long and successful life and career as a detective. She found love again and eventually went on to marry her colleague, the Concordian Flying Squad’s coroner, Richard Wells. They went on to have seven children and a happy married life together.
Amelia would eventually pass away on September 16, 1946 at the age of 80.

Exactly forty-six years after Amelia’s death, a baby girl, Emily Catharine Kates, was born. Emily was named after both her great-great-grandmother and the daughter Amelia had formerly lost.

Great-great-grandmother and great-great-granddaughter.

(Decided to fix it up a bit to make it add up to MoTP’s implied timeline better. 👍🏻)
