So story time.
I was at Walmart buying some stuff for my classes when I met a guy named Walter. He had a kitten in his hand and mentioned he had another one at his camp. Walter asked for $0.60, (the price of one can of cat food.) I didn’t have any change, so I offered to buy him some cat food if he waited outside. He agreed.
After buying kitten food and kibble, I went outside, but Walter wasn’t there. Determined to find him, I asked the security guard for help. They knew him by name, and we both started looking for him.
Unable to find Walter, I decided to check all the homeless encampments. Although I was alone and female, I pressed on. I asked some people if they knew Walter, but they didn't. They were also doing drugs right there, which was unsettling.
After 45 minutes of searching for this homeless guy with one eye and a kitten. i finally found him in front of a store!
I found out that the reason Walter left was because the same security guard who tried to help me find him was messing with him. Any way Walter in the end got his cat food Now, I shall always remember Walter and his two cats.
