MerCeran eats big, is big <3
In conjuring up another for-fun sketch as a warm-up (the last image), I realized that I‘ve inadvertently drawn Ceran-Serah (MerCeran) like a weight-gain sequence. Each new doodle is a testament to his gluttonous habits!

Mersharks dwell in golden scale reef, harbor of calm, and shark tail bay amongst rocks on the ocean floor. They also can be found in the bottomless stretch. They are often demonized by land races due to communication with seals and their hatred for them. They are often blamed for sinking ships and stealing fish but they almost are never the ones to do it.
They often team up with merorcas when it comes to defense and food. Mersharks can often be seen swimming with a merorca pods and vice versa, sometimes it’s for work, love, family, friendship, or protection. However this only an alliance and Mersharks often get killed by merorcas out of competition.
Other than that Mersharks tend to stay together in small families in caves or large rocks or ones that are naturally formed. They wear necklaces with the old teeth and bones that they’ve lost and collected over the years tied together with ropes and sea weed. They also turn them into weapons and armor. They wrap their arms, hands, and tails in sea weed.
Merdolphins swim and live a nomadic lifestyle everywhere except shark tail bay. They are the most hated and feared sea race in the sea. They often sink fishing ships for entertainment, food, and for trinkets that are otherwise unattainable.
They are often merchants traveling the seas trading with other races. They gather anything they see as valuable and sell it to land races. They move in pods that are made up of family and friends, killing and eating anything they come across, whether it’s a kind of fish or another sea race.
They can be seen wearing cloth obtained from stealing from ships or trading with dragons. They also like to wear jewelry and piercings that typically match what the rest of what the pod wears.
Merwhales at the biggest race that swim in deep open water of the bottomless stretch and in the abyss. They are a very mysterious race because they only live in the abyss and only come to the surface for air. They don’t trade with or interact with land races what so ever.
They are the only other race that has a full grasp on magic other than fauns. It’s used for long distance communication, telepathy, and hypnotizing. They almost never get in physical fights but when they do it can be catastrophic, causing small tsunamis, mental confusion and distress, sudden changes in currents, and death or harm of neighboring sea life and sea races. Merorcas is the only kind of merwhale that are not peaceful and are often lumped in with merdolphins.
They adorn themselves in seaweed wraps and ropes. They collect sunken items, shells and large pearls and tie them into the rest of their clothing.
