Douglas meant to be home an hour ago, he should have been making his way out to the woods, and instead he was stuck miles from home, the night fast approaching and the moon full. The change would come and the wolf was already gnawing at him. “I know, I know. Soon,” he muttered to himself. If his phone hadn’t been dead he’d have called Darren to come and get him, or even Mal, the substitute father that he was, but instead he was racing to make his way back before he completely lost control. His temper was raging, his nerves grinding into dust, and then some asshole nearly ran him over. He slammed his hands down on the hood of his car, uncaring for the fact that the hood dented under his full moon strength.

“Watch where th’ fuck yer going, mate!” he yelled before continuing towards the alleyway, he needed to at least get off the streets. Darren was going to kill him.

It was a rarity for Ezra to be this far from Dublin ever since he had moved there, but something had been drawing his concern outside London and he had really no choice but to go. When it came to his kind, he had to make sure they were all in order. He didn’t want the same thing to happen the last time he was in London. He looked to his clock, only for a moment thinking hearing his surroundings would be fine. When he looked back up he slammed on the breaks of his car, tilting his head to the side as a young man seemed to leave a dent in the hood of his car. Out of pure annoyance, he pulled his car over and got out, catching up to the other without a sweat. ❝ You better watch whose car you dent, kid. ❞ He practically spat as he gripped onto the boys shoulder to spin him around, ❝ For all you know I’m some… ❞ and then he could smell him. An almost disgusted look went across his face as he backed away from him, ❝Shouldn’t a dog like you be at home chained in the backyard? ❞

His sense of smell was just as keen, and he thought for a moment of making a run for it, but his wolf wouldn’t allow it. He turned to sneer at the vampire behind him. “Ain’t no one chainin’ me up, bloke,” he snarled. “And you need to watch where the fuck you’re driving.” It was a fight between his better sense and the beast. Douglas knew that one of them would be hurt, and in spite of the small lessons Mal had given him, he already knew it would likely be him. But the wolf raged on and so near to his transformation he was in no place to argue. He growled and his eyes became pale, his teeth sharp. “Unless yer lookin’ for a bloody fight, fuck off back to yer coffin.”

❝ My driving wasn’t the problem, mutt. ❞ He hissed. God this wasn’t how he wanted to spend his night, kicking some werewolves ass for mouthing off to him. No matter how much he wanted to leave his instincts told him to snap the kids neck, and make it known to his pack that he wasn’t one to be messed with (something most of them should know by now). An almost entertained look crossed his features as the boys eyes became pale, ❝ I dare you to make a move, canis. ❞
The wolf didn’t need an invitation as his nails grew longer, sharp claws lashed at him. He was transforming as they were fighting and while some part of Douglas’s right mind was still present, it would last long. A deep growl rolled out of his throat. Soon the wolf would take the best of him and if by any chance he won the fight he wouldn’t have a say in what happened after, in if he hunted, if he killed, or what his target would be.
