my opinions on the gg reboot characters :)

> Obie - ngl im indifferent about this man, I don't think he is worth the whole drama between Julien and Zoya but idk he doesn't bother me ig????

> Aki - I LOVE HIM, I like where the story with him, Audrey and Max is going but also he's just so lovable.

> Audrey - I can't decide whether I want to be WITH her or BE her, I'll admit I didn't like her in the first episode but im highkey crushing on her.

> Julien - a little to worried about her image for my liking, she's also waaayy to good for obie, I think she'll have a really good character development and storyline, STUNNING AND BEAUTIFUL, I like her.

Like I cannot imagine this sweetheart getting kicked out of school??? whatever it is I think it'll be justified. also waaaay to good for obie??? like sure they're cute but the way obie just drooped julien and then immediately moved onto Zoya???? I sense heartbreak on the horizon 🚩

Parentsite (1x06) — GG reboot thoughts

spoilers ahead! if you have yet to watch the new gossip girl episode pls skip this post but feel free to come back later :)

i never really post on my tumblr but i really want to start so why not start with this? hi people!  so i’ve been watching the gossip girl reboot and i’m genuinely enjoying it but this episode is one of the first that really made my blood boil and also calmed me down at some points so i thought it would be good to detail what was going through my head while i watched. lmk your thoughts

(1) kate keller — is disgusting. idc if she has any real feelings toward nick lott, going to his house in order to get information about zoya and julien’s mother for her ‘flashback post’ is atrocious. her overall relationship with zoya is gross cause she knows damn well what she’s doing. I seriously cannot wait for the teachers to either get exposed or lose GG entirely cause they’re so annoying 

(2) obie — okay so i’ve seen that people have mixed emotions about this dude. personally i love him but in these last couple of episodes he’s been seriously testing my patience . how dare you not want to speak up for your girlfriend because your afraid of your mom???? i guess i can understand being your mother’s ‘golden boy’ but like goddamn man grow a spine. and DON’T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THAT ENDING SCENE. ion wanna talk about it... actually, ykw

(3) julien — girl i was just starting to like you again and here the writers go fuckin it up for you. at first her intentions were pure yk, “i wanna help my sister with her boyfriend because i know his mother can be difficult” type beat which was sweet and everything but then shawty wanna pull a country boyyyy i still love youuuu like... wtf happened to your blossoming relationship with zoya??? why are you ruining it for some guy??? honestly, this whole sister v sister for obie’s affection is already played out in my opinion. they should both dump him and move on but thats my opinion 

(4) zoya — i have a weird feeling people are gonna be like “well, dur, juilen and obie still have feelings for each other! zoya just came out of nowhere and broke them up then proceeded to rub her relationship with him in julien’s face! she had no reason to overreact like that” first of all, those people probably don't have siblings. you have no idea what it feels like to think or simply believe your sibling could do something like that to you. secondly, look at it from her pov, she had been compared to juilen on multiple occasions just the day before; specifically by helena. zoya knows her sister and her boyfriend (can i even call him that atp??) have history and it runs so deep that zoya is insecure about it. i applaud her for being herself at that dinner table and not giving af what obie thought. good for you little z!

(5) audrey — my smol little baby who deserves everything. idk why but she made this episode enjoyable for me. even though she was stressed tf out and all she really made this ep. the poor nurses and doctors lol she was really their worst nightmare. the way she treated zoya in the hallway at constance doesn’t sit right with me but it seems they’re cool. im glad her and her mom finally got to talk even though it was short. i hope the writers explore this and don’t just brush it to the side

(6) max —DESERVES MORE SCREENTIME GODDAMN IT! other than audrey this suave motherfucker is my favorite character and i want to see more of him and i don't mean his relationships. speaking of :  the student-teacher relationship trope should’ve died with pretty little liars. as someone who grew up watching that show i thought ezria was cute but as i got older i realized how gross it is. ezra might've stalked and pursued aria with the inention to find out more about alison but he n-e-v-e-r hit on or had any other type of relationship with any other student of his unlike r**a who really should be in jail. im glad max finally decided to do something about it (although kate definitely fucked that shit up for him)  other than that, that one scene toward the end with max and his dad was type cute imo. it was nice to see that after 1x03

(7) aki — idk about this man y'all. he’s a sweet guy and boyfriend but i feel like i still don't know him that much. maybe the writers are waiting and planning to uncover more about him as he explores his sexuality??? they better do something cause other than him coming out (which was cute af and powerful imo) i’m not finding his character all that interesting as of now

(8) monet — her stans are probably so tight she wasn’t in this ep but honestly i was happy she wasn't around. the absence of her unnecessary bullying/mean girl antics made this episode v enjoyable for me

and finally 

(9) that scene — i was looking forward to that scene since i saw the trailer last week and when i tell you that shit didn’t disappoint *sips tea* i mean… the set up was enough : the dimmed lights, the music in the background, that DRESS — sis knew what she was doing. can't wait to see the drama (or lack of???)  that unfolds in the aftermath. kinda feel like audrey and max finna fight over aki which would be interesting considering max doesn’t seem like the type to be monogamous...
