Can we call fan fictions with really slow slow burns “death trap fic?” Because like death traps, we know what’s going to happen at the end yet we’re still filled to the brim with emotions because literally anything could happen before the runner runs out. Even if it’s at the very last minute.
Just a thought I had but want to know if anyone else agreed with it.
Okay so I have some au ideas
So with the release of Disney+, I have been able to watch a bunch of old DCOMs I absolutely LOVED as a kid
And I have become INSPIRED
I've got some DCOM-related Aus in the works (I wouldn't write the whole thing as a fic, just write out the plot, but anyone would totally be able to use them as long as they tagged me so I can see!)

The fact that all Marinette sees when she looks at Adrien after the reveal is Chat Noir, but then she realizes that she loves both sides of him and they show us that by giving us the scene where Chat Noir gives her the umbrella and *thunder claps* to Adrien.
That’s some poetic cinema right there.
🐉 Dragon Bug 🐞
Maybe late, but about "Ikari Gosen"… I'm the only one who found Ryuuko/Kagami and Ladybug/Marinette to very same?
I mean:
Two girls in the same age, same hair style and with a strong crash on Adrien
Both mother come from an east culture (however Marinette is chinese, Kagami is Japanese)
And, about they superhero alteregoes:
They Miraculouses are around they heads (Ears / Neck)
Both has a black and red themed suit with a mask and some stuff in they hair
The Dragon and the Ladybug also symbolise the good luck
They are the only superheroes who have transformation scenes without a body transformation scenes or final background…
(I'm quite sure Ryuuko transformation was a reference for Ladybug's first transformation)

I rewatched "Ikari Gosen". At the end of the episode, Kagami confesses her (chinese) zoodiac is a Dragon, than Marinette anwsers she is a Snake.
Hmmmm...... Tell me more about it.......

Do you guys remember when Bunnix 🐇 asked Marinette/ Minibug if she wants to see her next birthday gift? It could be just a term for not spoil something good, but also could be a reference for the future:

If you remember, in episode "Weredad", Tom (Marinette's father) misunderstood the situation and belived Marinette wants to call her hammster to "Nightmare"
And Cat Noir was there as well.......
So, what if Adrien gona give a hammster for Marinette's birthday and sayes she could call it "Nightmare".........

Hi! I just remembered a miraculous fanfic I read once that I didn't save...
Summery:
It was Adrienette and marichat.
Adrien and Mari were (unhappily, on Adrien's part) together not knowing their identities. Adrien kisses Ladybug (not knowing it's mari) while slow dancing with her at some type of ball. Basically cheating on her (???)
Mari breaks up with Adrien after that, and after a while gets together with Chat Noir (Adrien's attempt to get back together with her)
Bla bla bla more drama. They reveal their identities and live happily ever after.

*Marinette was the quiet kid at school before she met Alya (due to bullying). She never talked unless spoken to, or if she necessarily had to. She never stood up for herself either.
*Both Adrien and Marinette have eyebags, but they cover it up with makeup.
*Ladybug and Chat can communicate with just facial expressions and eye contact.
*We all know that Ladybug is very tired for obvious reasons. She has involuntarily fallen asleep in public... multiple times.
There's even multiple "Every time Ladybug has fallen asleep in public" comps on YouTube. It's cannon that Mari falls asleep in public sometimes, so I thought it would be funny if she was the same way transformed.
*Ladybug gave Chat Noir a happy meal from McDonald's once as an apology for being cranky earlier that day.
Now that we're all anxiously waiting for a new episode of S5...

let me tell you why Adrienette is THE ship.
It's healthy, it's wealthy, it's rich, it's that bitch.
Adrien is probably cautious of love because he's afraid that they'll only be with him because of his fame and money.
He knows that Marinette truly loves him, for a fact.

because of this.
she fucking hated his guts when they first met. she didn't give 2 shits about who was in front of her.
everyone else is fawning over him because he's Adrien Agreste, but not Marinette. He had to prove himself to her for forgiveness and trust. Marinette looks through the Agreste name and only sees Adrien for him.
she's real and he knows that.
but how do we know Adrien truly loves her back?
well, he has mostly seen Marinette's gaga goofy side. there's not a lot of times Adrien's seen Marinette being calm and herself.
and Adrien still fell for her, even though she acted like a drug addict most of the time.
he said it himself, he thought it was a part of her charm.
Also, Adrien likes touching Marinette a lot. he doesn't usually put his hand on people's shoulders or hug them without warning. it was just Marinette.
