“stop staring,” younghoon whispers. sangyeon’s eyes tear away from you, only to roll them at his friend.
“am not” he huffs. “I’m just… looking around the library, you know?”
of course he was looking at you. how could he not when you were smiling so bright like the sun while talking to a friend? your hair fell perfectly in all the right places that allowed him to see the face that has been filling his dreams, both day and night. saying he liked you would be a major understatement. sangyeon is absolutely whipped for you.
“yeah, sure” younghoon snorts, dropping the pen he was holding onto the table. “nothing like looking around the old, dusty library right? seriously sang, just tell them how you feel! I’m in pain watching you watch them from afar.” clutching his heart dramatically, younghoon pretends to double over in agony which causes sangyeon to crumple up a piece of paper and throw it at him.
“shut up, hoon” sangyeon retorts. “I can’t just tell them, you know that. and I’m absolutely fine with just admiring them from afar.” sighing, the boy drops his chin in his hands as he holds a soft look in his eyes. from the moment he met you, he knew he was done for. you and sangyeon started out as partners for a two month-long physics project where your days and nights were filled with spending time together. laughter and jokes constantly filled the air to ease the stress of the work you had to do, along with moments of comfort when things just got a little too frustrating.
thee moment, though, was when you made cups of tea to soothe your souls because coffee was making you both delirious. you had approached him with hot mugs in each of your hands and a cheesy smile on your face. the minute “tea for my cutea” came out of your mouth, it was over for him.
younghoon watched his friend who had sickeningly sweet honey dripping from his eyes as he stared at you ahead and shook his head slightly. “keep staring like that long enough, sang,” he says. “and they’ll eventually turn their head.”
