Clark should be slightly unnerving to look at. He passes human but people still get chills when they are in the same room as him. They get the primordial sense of 'Danger. Predator.' (There's just something wrong about him) It's the the Uncanny Valley - a non-human that looks like a person but could seriously injure you.
Most people can ignore it. But, every now and then (maybe he moved to fast, maybe the light caught his eyes wrong, maybe his teeth seemed sharper), people will flinch.
The first time someone doesn't flinch or look uneasy around him (save his parents) is with Batman. In exchange? Clark will do whatever it take for him (WHATEVER it takes)
The 'versus' part is them arguing about whether or not they should travel or stay home with family for their anniversary.

I love Ma Kent. She's a queen and deserves the best of the world.

Jo-El is a cryptic mf. Kal-El really shouldn't have taken his word for it. He did and I get it, but he should've been at least a bit more hesitant.
I like his monologue, though.

Henry Cavill has the prettiest eyes. Very blue. I love his hair, too. But I love his eyes.

I keep thinking "OMG, he's Wayne Bait!" And then I remember that Bruce and Kent canonically get mixed up several times. Of course he's Wayne Bait. He's Bruce's kinda look alike.
The priest guy that Clark talks to is pretty cool. I don't normally like priests, but he gives Clark some pretty sound advice.
Again. Lois should've been a lot more hesitant to trust Jo-El.

I love Superman, but Batman keeps the property damage to almost zero in comparison. Actually. Bats doesn't break buildings or streets....
There's a random ass cop in Smallville, Kansas that knows that Clark Kent is Superman. But, he's a background character, so it's okay if he knows.

For me, Ma Kent canonically will always have a pair of Kryptonite knuckle-dusters in her bedside cabinet. Because, while Clark is their son, he is also quite an idiot sometimes.
So, when Dani comes over to the farm to inform them (What a nice young lady she is) about Connor the clone, and that superman is being an Ass to him-
-They know that clones are basically the norm on Krypton, and according to Krypton laws he should have already been teaching him how to play baseball and ride a bike (They have been talking to Jor'El [He is also disappointedin his son])...
Well, let's just say that Superman wakes up in the tower's infirmary, seeing stars, sporting a nasty bruise on his forehead and a concusion headache.
