You had it all going for you, didn't you?
A loving fiancé, Chris. A wonderful older sister, Jade who understood you when others couldn't, a best friend who has been your ride or die since you were in diapers together. A beautiful apartment, not to mention the cutest dog you have ever dreamed of.
Of course, nothing stays good forever. In fact, that is when everything decided to come crashing down.
That fiancé, wonderful sister, perfect apartment. Gone within an hour. That adorable dog, stolen by your now former fiancé. That left you with one option.
You were intent on heading back home to pick up the pieces of your now shattered life. Your best friend had a different plan, that required your position at a leasing office. What happened next is still a blur in your mind. Yet somehow you're stuck signing a lease and staying for another year.
This is your chance to start over, start a new career or continue to work at the local leasing office, stake your claim in the city that will be your home for the foreseeable future. ❥ The Best Friend: Cameron “Cam” Clarke [M] – Cam has always been by your side; you have known each other since you were in diapers. Always clinging to one another’s familiarity. Some would say he dives headfirst without thinking, according to Cam it's always thought out. His "impulsiveness" is part of his charm. He could care less about others, but one look in your direction is all it takes to soften him up. Cam is confident, sarcastic, and some would say rude. Yet never to you. You can’t help noticing how he looks at you, has it always been this adoringly? Cam works as a photographer.

❥The Rival: Gage/Garnet Kim [M or F] – G was one of your closest friends/rival in college, now just a sore reminder of the bad choices you’ve made. G was your educational rival in every sense of the word. You fought about everything. G has always had a sharp tongue, and stood out as a lone wolf. They're stoic, detached, and a bit closed-off. Regardless, Cam was able to soften their tough exterior. Getting close to one another was inevitable. Your chemistry undeniable. That was until a fight one night at the dorms. Now G barely looks your way. No witty comment, no stolen glances when they thought you weren't looking. Can you fix the fracture in your relationship? G works as a veterinarian.

Always lacking sleep, that doesn’t dampen their smile. Yet from time to time you notice a sadness that doesn’t belong to their kind face. ❥ The Delivery person [redacted] : Isaac Allen [M or NB] - I is the resident flirt/jokester. Are you having a bad day? Well, you better believe they have a well timed comment/joke ready to make you blush or laugh. They regularly forget things. Isaac is constantly working either their delivery job or their other job they keep secret. Though you've never met prior, you can swear you've seen them before. Will you be the one who finally gets Isaac to give love a chance?

❥ The Landlord: Ardent Pine [M] - You know the last person on Earth you would ever want to be stuck with, yeah that’s Ardent. He is rude, inconsiderate, self-entitled. Everyone has a bad word to say about Ardent. Even his cat (who is the cause of the scars on his arms). Since seeing you something about you has just rubbed him the wrong way, always quick to throw a snide comment your way. Ardent is the type who you could argue with about anything, wanting to pull his hair out afterwards. Surely, he can’t be that bad right? There must be a good bone in him somewhere, are you willing to find it, and find what has hardened his heart? resident dilf

MC's Sister-:Jade- Mc's older sister, Jade is very much what one would envision when thinking of a girl who can solely rely on looks. She is dazzling even you can't deny that. She comes across as quiet and reserved, but if Jade is close to you, she can make you feel like the single most important person in a room.

Hi! Omg, your interactive fiction looks so good. I mean, the characters are so well rounded, and I honestly can't wait to meet each of the ROs? I just wanted to ask an angsty question: how would the ROs react to MC walking in on them kissing or being on top of someone else, like the RO fell or the other person kissed them? I just live for miscommunication, and the thought of the MC just standing there and running out before the RO could even explain sends shivers down my spine.

❤️ Cam - Has jumped up/pushed that person away. Unless MC tells Cam to stay put he will follow hot on their hills. Explaining what happened. It's not what it looked like, he's never seen that person before! Cam will not let you think what just happened meant something. He would mention if he had feelings for someone he would tell you before anyone else.
💙 G - They want to be able to give you time to mull over your thoughts before coming after you, but they can't. Crushing stage G will be conflicted on whether they should say anything. Ex G will think you won't care, why would you? That doesn't mean they want you to misread the situation. They will come to you calmly, explain the situation, and watch to see your reaction. Do you care that someone else kissed them? Does it bring back memories?
💚 Kara - She is a bit intrigued. Did you get jealous seeing someone else claiming her lips? Oh, is that your job only? She will reassure MC that it was simply an accidental kiss. Would it make you feel better if she kissed you instead? Maybe you should beg for just a taste of her lips, and she will give you what you want. A jealous MC would make Kara giddy, enough to kiss mc in front of the other person.
💛 M -They will be fuming mad. Suddenly they swear at the person, who will likely apologize and leave. M will turn to MC holding their lips, especially if the person kisses M before MC can. "Stolen...they...my first, who does that? What shithead does that?" MC will learn fast that M didn't want that, and will have to reassure them instead.
💜 Isaac - "Guess I'm just that damn irresistible, huh?" They will make a joke, not their best but they try. It's an awkward moment, especially one they didn't want. If crushing stage Isaac will be apologetic but also not know how to handle the situation. Do they tell you it meant nothing, tell you they would rather ki- No, maybe they shouldn't admit that. Maybe you don't mind at all. Once Isaac sees that Mc does in fact care, they get a feeling in their gut. Happiness, shit they need to ignore that.
🖤 Ardent - "Honestly, if you had the balls to kiss me at least make it worth my fucking time. I'd have rather kissed a fucking dead pigeon." Ardent doesn't bother to pretend it was good, not even a little bit. He will walk over before MC can leave, he would yank at Mc's shirt and wipe his lips off. Crushing stage, "Don't look so annoyed, I only got one jackass I want to kiss and it ain't that one." He would give Mc a wink and go about his day. Nothing to worry about here it seems.

Hi, me again. I love your IF, and I wanted to ask (no pressure). How about deep in a relationship when Ardent's niece asks, "Auntie MC, when am I going to get a cousin?"
How would Ardent react if MC just looked at him with a soft smile? "Don't worry, sweet heart; we are going to be working on it soon." Implying that MC would like kids.
Always appreciate the love and support ~ Looking at Ardent, he wouldn't look like the type to want kids. He comes across as somewhat cold and rough around the edges. Of course, that is if you see him on his own. When with his niece it's very apparent that he does have a soft side. He wouldn't be put off by the idea. He might even feign surprise when he hears MC say that. (Just know he would be lying if he said he didn't think about that very topic before.) "Your auntie is lucky, we're gonna start on that sooner than they think." Ardent playfully ruffles his niece's hair, before leaning over to give MC a kiss on the cheek.
