I gave him clothing that was more consistent with those of other Forliidians, digitigrade legs because I thought they would make the design flow better, and a mouth to make the neck less awkward
I wanted to make a second version with the scarf covering his mouth, but I got lazy

WOW this took me HOURS. I had fun doing the pose for Flo but god if lighting and stuff was a pain since I don't do it often and. don't really know how to do it good. My friends have told me this looks fine and they really like it but I feel like this looks pretty crappy HAHAFHGJFKG
But aside from that, I've been wanting to draw something for this scene for awhile, even if it's not exactly top quality. Axis BLAST!!!!! I wonder if you can pick up on what's implied by this image...

Some concepts for two characters of mine: blink and belly!!! these aren’t their final colors.
Blink has eyes but is often not aware of its own surroundings - it finds it difficult to fully pay attention to the world around it. Belly can change the position, sharpness, and number of its teeth and it clicks them together in order to echolocate. It’s able to be more attentive and aware than blink.
i wanted to show them exploring each other, since they’d never experienced something like the other before meeting. belly had never encountered eyeballs and was very interested in them when feeling blink’s face, but you can’t really touch someone’s eyeballs with your feet…. and blink was fascinated with belly’s teeth and wanted to know how they were attached. it’s no great loss to belly to lose a tooth.

half bat pony, dad had an affair with a bat pony after celestia is born
when younger, celestia holds resentment toward luna since she sees her as "illegitimate" she brushes luna off constantly and tries to pretend she's not there in the nicest way possible (always overruling her, interrupting her ideas, ect) which drives luna to hatred and lets tantabis infect her
magic is the same color as eyes (middle blue)
