In DnD Artificer's and Rogue's can become liches

And I'm not talking about pointy hat's homebrew awesome as it is.

You see, to become a litch you need to cast some secret wizard spells that are very high level, so normally only wizards (and maybe bards because of magical secrets) can do it.

But Artificer and Thief subclass Rogue get an interesting ability to ignore the attunement requirements of magic items.

The legendary item "The tome of the stilled tongue" has the power to cast ANY SPELL you write in it once per day and can only be attuned to by wizards...except no Artificer and thief Rogue just say "ima ignore that" and attune anyway.

So if you get good at copying you can find the spells required write them down in the book and cast them

Artificer litch is awesome in aesthetic

But a Martial class becomes a litch and still has no spell slots is just too funny

(watching any horror movie) i simply would not try that hard to survive
