something that bothers me about the entire evanuris plotline, which i know has been probably vented to death by more articulate people than i by now, is what is the endgame for the dalish supposed to be?

after having a hammer taken to the core of their faith and their deities exposed as the source of the great world-devastating evil that had, until now, been ascribed to tevinter as the boogeymen of the setting, what is supposed to happen with this entire culture of people? are they supposed to shrug their shoulders and convert to andrastianism? the one religion where the writers have said they're never going to confirm as true or false one way or another, and thus safe from the kind of complete upheaval they're subjecting the elves to, because god (haha) knows we couldn't possibly debunk and villainize the christian allegory?
