Wow -- what is it about this image? Â 95% of the time I get notified that someone likes or has reblogged an image on my blog... it's this one. Â Really, I've stopped even looking, I just assume it's this one.
That said, it's a lovely image. Â Since it's getting reblogged so much, I suppose I should mention that it's by Arthur Wardle, and it's called "A Bacchante".
Very nice conjunction here! Â Dionysos Bromios, the Thunderer, the Roarer, with the leopards that are His animalistic symbol... makes me think of the thunderstorms of August rolling across the foothills of the Rocky Mountains... but with leopards. Â =)
