Kamen Rider Kuuga & Agito.
Make a Home In My Arms (Kamen Rider Agito Fic)
Summary:
Despite his broad smile and easy laughter, the weight on his shoulders and clouds in his mind were heavy upon his gentle heart. Luckily, Mana was made of tougher stuff and was always there beside him.

Their house was very quiet at night with the odd layout carrying every sound like an echo, sending it up or down through the house that seemed to spiral and carry to and from the upstairs bedrooms. The only person who seemed to really notice such a fact was Mana; however, the boys of the house were all pretty heavy sleepers compared to her. So when she could hear socks on carpet out in the hall seeming to pace the hallway, she wasn’t surprised it had been what woke her. She heard the steps hover awkwardly at the end of the hall around the corner from her room for a bit before they eventually made their way to leave whoever it was up at this time of night right outside her door. It was too dark to see any shadows beneath the door, but the only one who ever sought her out especially at a time like this left her with only one possible visitor.
She waited, not making a sound outside keeping her breathing as even as possible in case Shouichi grew skittish and ran back to his room, giving up on whatever had brought him to her. She would sometimes tease and act a bit more harsh towards him than she ever really meant just to see his expressions, he was always such a vibrant person for someone who hid so much of himself away simultaneously. But in truth she never minded whenever he would pluck the courage to come to her, content knowing she was the one person he had decided to zero in on even for the smallest concerns that seemed to make roost in his head. He was still reluctant to reach out for help or to worry anyone, even if his efforts of keeping others at ease only incited more concern than just asking for help would have. So she hoped giving him some patience would encourage him here.
Even when he stopped his pacing, he was constantly making some sort of sound as if he couldn't keep still, a constant rustling of clothing against itself, his socks seeming to worry a dent into the carpet by now surely as he kept twisting the balls of his feet into the floor where he stood. Mana had to make sure she fully stifled the chuckle that came to her, endeared at the man for how young and small he came off despite being the older of the two of them. Still, she held fast in her waiting, comfortable in bed with the blanket pulled up to her nose as she turned her head on her pillow to look towards the door as if she could see with her eyes as vividly as she did in her mind the man anxiously behind it.
Eventually, she was rewarded for her efforts when she heard less of a knock and more of a muted pawing at her door. A moment later she heard Shouichi’s voice stage-whisper through the door and the slight movement of the doorknob being grabbed but not turned, the mechanisms inside clicking softly.
“Mana-chan? A-are you busy?”
She huffed out her nose to keep from laughing out loud at how odd the phrasing was.
“I was busy sleeping, but I'm not now.”
She made a big show of moving around in the bed, making sure he would hear her blankets being pushed around and the small creaks of the bed.
He replied with a small chuckle, trying to cover up embarrassment or maybe even a little guilt at having woken her. “Ahhhaha….Sorry…um, but since you’re not busy doing that now, could I-”
She had given patience plenty, now that he was as good as asking himself she was taking the lead.
“Just come in, Shouichi-kun.”
With a soft, “excuse me then” on his lips for the sake of decorum, he carefully opened the door, shutting it fully behind him as gently as he could so it wouldn't make any loud sounds against the doorframe. Only then did he turn around where he stood to look at Mana in the dark room, only the smothered moonlight illuminating through the window as the city streets mostly kept the stars out of sight. She was sitting up in her bed, but she had scooched to the side as close to the wall as she could get, leaving the side facing him open. She had the blankets kicked down to the foot of the bed, waiting -not discarded. He tucked his hands into the sleeves of the sweatshirt he had worn to bed and gripped the material of the shirt around his stomach, his oversized borrowed sleep pants complimenting the look to make him come off much smaller than he was as they dragged at his heels. He had gotten all his own clothes by now since living with them for around a year now, but he had almost begged to keep the borrowed pajama’s from “their” uncle.
“Shouichi-kun…come here, would you?”
He nodded once, shuffling over to the side of her bed and not meeting her eyes anymore. He kept working the material of his shirt between his fingers, nervous energy all but radiating off him despite him carrying himself as politely as he could. He stopped when his knees all but bumped against the edge of the bed, his gaze flicking up to hers briefly in a silent “what next?”. She firmly smacked more than patted the open space on her mattress, offering him a smile to reassure him.
“Shouichi-kun.” It was said with a bit of a drawl, somewhere between an impatient whine and a soft scolding. The man in question nodded softly, his gaze dropping again to have his shaggy hair almost hide his eyes entirely.
“Okay…”
He moved to sit on the bed at first before simply flopping to the side from there, jostling a bit as the sudden weight to the small mattress bounced them both a little. He laughed at himself then, only now more comfortably looking into her eyes since they were face to face in this position, and she grinned back. He made an attempt to kick up the blankets, fumbling a bit with it and almost getting tangled before Mana took pity on him and reached down pulling the heavy duvet up over them both to their shoulders. She was sure the corners of her eyes must look pinched with mirth at how much she was smiling as he almost instantly melted into the bed, snuggling his face against the edge of the blanket in contentment.
“This is the bed we made together, so it feels extra comfortable like home.”
“Well, it is in our house, isn't it all home?”
“Mm-Mn, it is our house and our home but….mmm, this is the home you all made and invited me into. This, “he accentuated his words with a light caress of his hand against the sheets between them, “is part of the home I made.”
“Like the garden?”
He nodded with a bright hum, glad that she understood what he meant.
“Does it feel better? To be in the home you made yourself whenever you’re worried?”
He stilled, his smile quick to fade as he looked at her with interest and a nervous expression.
“Whenever you go off when you’re upset or scared or when you come back from your trips, i always end up finding you out there. Does Shuichi-kun find it more comfortable out there, in your own place with your heart?”
“I….I want to protect all of it, for you guys because you all were so kind to me and took me in. And for myself, because I want to stay here forever. It’s all important to me and irreplaceable.”
She hummed at his answer, reaching over to gently pull his head forward and against her collar bone. He didn't resist in the slightest, even if she had tugged him enough to hurt he would have yielded easily as always to her. She kept her hand in his hair, idly twirling some of the longer tufts against the back of his neck between her hands. At the coaxing of her unmoving hand, he reached out in kind, his hands now grabbing at the edges of her shirt as he tucked his arms tightly between them both to reach.
“Does this help?”
“...Ah, mn…it definitely helps. Thank you, Mana-chan. I like it here, very much.”
“We know, I promise. And Shouichi-kun can always stay here, as long as he likes. Even if he gets his memories back and has another home, this will never not be his home either.”
It seemed that hit the nail on the head, whatever tension and nervousness that he had had finally melting away as he seemed to relax almost boneless into her now aside his tight grip. She smiled, happy she could offer him something like this when he was always doing things and existing just for them. He was always the smile she came home to and the one she’d drag around on errands, he was always asking her incessant questions and trying to be involved in anything he could be even if he had no idea what was going on. His only real skills were his housekeeping, cooking, and his kindness. His jokes were terrible and she would groan with the others when she heard them. But in the end, she wouldn’t really want him to go or be anywhere else either. She knows she pushes him a lot, more than anyone else, to relearn his past, but it wasn't that she was pushing him out. She was honestly nervous he would remember some better other life without them and never come back sometimes.
She just wanted him to be happy and to be happy with him and the rest of her family. So for now, she was happy to be a part of his “home” and he a part of hers, however long it would last.

Some tokusatsu requests i did over on instagram, these were kinda relaxing and nice to do honestly
