If Niffty is supposed to be bug inspired, I don't know why she doesn't have a bug antenna, it makes the inspiration very obvious. Polka dots help Niffty to play on a word "ladybug", being a literal lady-bug, but she is actually a cockroach.

I leaned into a 50's housewife with the dress. It also looks like a maid uniform.

Since the "atomic age" and "nuclear family" I think that mutant/radiation could relate to her one eye, since with just a bug insp. she doesn't have to be a cyclop. She's a cockroach that survived a nuclear blast. And I made the eye that toxic waste green color. I don't think that it has to do anything with her mortal life necessarily, it just represent her bizzare nature. Also I saw a Niffty redesign (link) that has a UFO inspiration for the same purpose. So yeah, a mutant/alien vibe for the weird girly.

I'm thinking to make her limbs a dark brown or smth, so it's easier to see when they overlap.

Changed his body shape to how I draw him (actually I could make the chest even smaller, but didn't want to mess with the pose.) I gave Alastor a wider upper body while Pentious is more snakey in comperison.

The hood I'm not 100% sold on, might return to actual eyes, or come up with something else, but I wanted to try something different.

Made a huskerdust fankid design, but of course immediately after I drew it I came up with some changes to make lol

I decided to post all the stages cause I like 'em. The "final" one still could use some polishing, but I'm kind of tired of working on this, so maybe some other time.

Lucky is a fluffy spider that mimics an animal. Originaly just a cat cause of Husk, but then I thought of a magician's bunny and a lucky rabbit's foot and so I put those spidery appendages on her head to look like bunny ears.

(I was thinking about those things spiders have near the mouth, like what Molly's bangs are based on. But now I think they look more like little spidy legs???)

Really got into disney princesses recently. I'm watching all their movies in chronological order, currently I have to watch Aladdin.

Here are some sketches for the fairest of them all.

I liked the Little Mermaid series as the kid, and the idea of the serial cartoons about the princesses is delightfull to me! Although I haven't yet watched Tangled the series. I've heard there is one in the works about Tiana too?

I like daydreaming about making my own cartoons and adaptations. Like a little series about Snow White, the first season would be about her life with the dwarfs. The second after the marriage with prince Florian, as a queen. And I came up with her daughter Ruby Red, so the third season would be about her, and about Snow being a mother.
