I like to imagine that BOTH piper and Jason are gay

I always thought that it was weird that they stayed together after Jason said that he didn’t remember her, because amnesia can really change a person

And then when it was confirmed that piper’s memory had been changed by Hera/ Juno I know they “took a break” but still

I think it fits with their character tho

Piper probably grew up in the spotlight because of her dad, I imagine she’s been in the tabloids as her dads troubled child - the time period of pjo and hoo is unclear but they’re usually not great to women likeing anyone so I could see her suppressing wlw urges before the lost hero

to have someone who isn’t a criminal like her and Leo care for her, while not caring/knowing about her dad was probably a nice. Plus she probably knows how to put up an act for the public

Jason couldn’t remember who he was. and honestly if a hot girl said you were dateing and would then kills a monster I’d go with it too

Even when he could remember his childhood he wasn’t exactly rased in an excepting environment idk how wolves are with gay rights but he was literally rased to be a child soldier and feel like that doesn’t invite self exploration and expression adding having to take on a leadership role with a girl who you’re low key expected to date— and we get more gay repression

Plus Hera/ Juno is seen to have like no moral qualms about forcing theses two together I doubt she’d even consider that her perfect suto child/ solider could be gay

I’m mostly just a fan of angst

And I’d like Nico to have gay friends, I know how important that is even if you’re other friends are supportive it’s not the same

I know they tried to have him talk to piper in sun and star but they never had any previous friendship and they honestly kinda threw piper away after hoo

Apparently Tumblr is a place for people who like to complain about every shit, so here I am again.

How is it that we have planets, dwarf planets and moons named after a lot of greco-roman mythological figures but not for Hera or Athena? 93 Minerva is an asteroid you probably never heard of, whereas 3 Juno and Juno are an asteroid and a spacecraft, respectively.

Hermes has little Mercury. Hades has socially distanced Pluto. Even Demeter has a small planet between Mars and Jupiter called Ceres.

"B-but the Milky Way..." Exactly, the Milky Way. Literally our entire galaxy was named after the milk that squirted from her nipple when she realized that baby Heracles was sucking her breast. AKA that one moment when she was genuinely pissed off and probably one of those events she tries to forget.

How is naming a whole ass galaxy after such a myth comforting to her in any way?

These gorgeous space pictures are so pretty and poetic on their own, and the Van Gogh connection just makes this all the more lovely. What a strange, beautiful, mysterious, fantastical universe God has crafted!

I love imagining what it would be like to stand on the surface of a planet like that, if one could--to just stand there and gaze up at the sky, all swirling colors and wonder above you. 

I actually started a series of short ‘stories’ a couple of years ago I called “Scenes from Planets”. They didn’t really have any plot to them; they were just my self-indulgent, descriptive speculations on what it would be like to stand on various planets, moons, and other celestial bodies in our universe, to wander around on them and chew the scenery. Perhaps I’ll have to go back and write more of those some time...
