Like, FR. I feel like if they took a different way of writing the “rivalry” with Julie, it might’ve be something actually worth while. I feel like what they should’ve done was after sabotaging her didn’t work, they could’ve made him realise that if he wants that spot so much than he should work for it. Like, have some scenes of him like honing his goalie skills or something. Maybe he only really wanted top goalie because he’s never done anything else and doesn’t know what he should do. It would be an interesting way to develop his character further. Man, if they won’t give us that, I might just write my own fic about it lol. It’s getting frustrating 😭😭
