We all know Ijichi’s personality, our beloved Assistant Manager. Dedicated, protective, hardworking, loyal, and calm. But poor Ijichi, he gets nervous easily if a problem arises. Would he ever get bold and confident in himself? Let’s see how it goes.

👔Bold!Ijichi who stands for himself when Gojo teases him. “Gojo san, I believe I still have paperwork to finish as well as you have a meeting with the higher-ups in 5 minutes. You better hurry up to be on time. Good luck.” Ijichi confidently informs Gojo, leaving him gaped in shock.

👔Bold!Ijichi asks Nanami to have dinner together on a weekend. Until the last time, it was Nanami who insisted on paying the bill. Ijichi would get so flustered and shy to turn down such generosity. This time is different. “Nanami san, I would like to invite you for dinner this weekend. Excuse me, I insist on paying the bill this time. If it suits you, please accept my invitation.” Ijichi ends his words with a respectful bow. With a warm smile, Nanami replies before bowing back “my pleasure, Ijichi san.”

👔Ijichi never asks for help. He would rather stay for HOURS to find the solution for an issue or search for a missing paper. Ijichi doesn’t like to involve anyone in his chaos. One time, Bold!Ijichi asks Nitta if she has some free time to help him fill out some minor papers. “Thank you for letting me help out, Ijichi san.” Nitta informs Ijichi after receiving the paperwork. As the nice man he is, Ijichi brings a treat for her the next morning as a payback for helping him.

👔Everyone at Jujutsu High knows that Ijichi is forbidden from fighting. Whenever he passes by the students training with Gojo or Nanami, Ijichi is captivated and reminisces over the old days as a student. At long last, Bold!Ijichi gathers up his courage to ask Gojo to be in a fight with his first-year students; certainly under his supervision. Gojo is reluctant to accept, but one fight won’t hurt, right? Gojo announces to his students their new, one-fight-only partner for the day, specifically fighting with Yuji against Nobara and Megumi. Yuji is thrilled after such an announcement. Bold!Ijichi takes off his glasses and jacket to get ready alongside Yuji.

Yuuji loves everything about you, and he’s not sure why. Maybe it was your bubbling laughter. Maybe it was your glimmering e/c eyes. Maybe it was the way your lips curled into a cheeky grin whenever he said/did something mildly funny.

“What do you think about dogs?” You ask, chewing mindlessly on the popsicle stick. “You seem like a Golden Retriever kind of person.”

The summer cicadas are as loud as ever, reminding Yuuji of the beach date he’d promised you. 

He only stares, uncharacteristic of him but he can’t help it. The warm golden light falls upon your features and highlight the best parts of you. He feels his face flush when you catch him staring. He doesn’t look away. 

He kind of wants to kiss you.

“Yuuji?” You tilt your head and raise a brow. “Yuuji, you okay?” 

He nods slowly, too entranced with the way your eyes shine and the way your bottom lip is pulled between your teeth. You’re so beautiful that he feels his heart palpitate. 

Damn, he really wants to kiss you. 

“You’re pretty.” He says sincerely, shifting forward. 

The summer cicadas are drown out by the hammering of his heart against his ribcage. 

“Uh- uhm,” You stutter, face hot as you avert your gaze elsewhere. His honey-brown eyes follow your every move until you decide to speak. “You’re really– thank you, Yuuji.” 

You accept the kiss against your temple with a red face and shy smile.

I have to be completely honest and say that this mf Okkotsu Yuuta smooth walked into my heart. Like how?? I don’t know. I read JJK and liked Nanami, sure. I also liked Choso, sure! But my favorite was Inumaki Toge, mostly because he’s cute and petite. But then mf Okkotsu Yuuta comes in trying to kill Yuji and he looked so goddamn tired that I loved him.
