Went to sleep after watching the Wonderlust trailer last night and had a very vivid dream that the big reveal for Condi’s character is that he’s just a normal middle aged dude in an owl mascot suit

Blink being unable to properly preen his feathers due to joint pain or general fatigue and when he mentions is Runt pulls out a terrifying looking gadget she made

I love when people make Blink fucking HUGE. Like not just tall like equally tall and wide and fluffy just a massive guy who is always trying to seem smaller than he is.

word vomiting my first impressions and thoughts about wonderlust ep 1!!

CHARACTER FIRST IMPRESSIONS:
- troy is reminds me of draco malfoy in the "i have daddy issues and wanna impress my dad who doesn't give me enough love and attention and so it manifests in being a dick to everyone around me also because my dad's the mayor and i'm super privileged" kind of way. i'm so interested to see where his character goes from here because at the moment he's def the annoying kind of character (and charlie plays the annoying UP man he just says shit omygosh)
- RUNT PROTECC RUNT i need to wrap runt up in bubble wrap and keep her safe from the horrors of the world. she is precious and innocent and so freaking smart (artificer??? hello???) and i can't WAIT to see that displayed in full. grizzly's accent for runt was not what i was expecting at all but it adds to the sassy young teenager who takes no shit and i love it
- blink is just condi. like straight up. the character design looks like condi and condi voices him like himself. i can't wait to dig deeper into this character cos i feel like his past history is gonna be so interesting (current headcanon based off the conversation with orion is that he was previously a criminal or some sort of morally grey character? or faced some sort of tragedy but if the former happened i'd be so excited)
OTHER THOUGHTS:
- i really liked blink and troy's dynamic so much. condi and charlie really bounced off each other like so well this ep, they were just going back and forth with their characters so seamlessly. i feel like i would get whiplash just listening to them converse
- bizly DM!!!!! dude the worldbuilding is crazy and so cool, like the way he describes the clockwork soldiers and the cities just sucks me right into the world
LOVED THIS FIRST EP I CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE
The Wonderlust pcs are all getting hit with the chronic pain projection beam
Troy dealing with migraines and post concussion syndrome from his concussion
Runt dealing with leg pain and needing the leg braces to help her walk
Blink dealing with fatigue and weak joints and joint issues making it so he can’t fly for long

i miss riptide but have some wonderlust
- runt built her own braces using scrap the street rats through out
- 10 year old runt standing on a bench on her tippy toes trying to use a smithing table making her first mechanics tool set
- troy (i want to punt this man out a window) has been sponsored by laxatives, didn’t question the patch just slapped it on
- it’s called loose engine
- blink has a scar running through his lower wing from an escape from the vixens
- uncle three strings used to strum his guitar to help runt sleep when her cough got really bad
- runt got teased for her lisp once by another younger street rat, he got a broken nose and a bruised kidney but he will never tell why
so early to watching wonderlust ep 3 that no one's really posted about it yet so SOME QUICK THOUGHTS
i adore how bizly gives the other three space to just hash things out and roleplay. like watching troy, runt and blink go back and forth at each other is like watching a beautiful car crash
love the puzzles in this ep too idk, maybe memory sucks but i do think jrwi tends to have more combat over puzzles so it's nice to have a change

when the extra scene with just troy started and bizly said the hooded figure held up a dagger at him? i was like "OHHHH no wonder he asked if he recognised the dagger"
also how the heck do i spell troy's real name? it sounds like tremilton to me which is pretty awful

troy sending blink to an early grave via heart attack is more likely than you think with how many problems he causes
does anyone know if there will be a new wonderlust episode today or if they're still uploading it every 2 weeks?
sincerely, someone who wants to know exactly how much more problems troy can cause, how exasperated blink can be, and how many insane inventions runt can make
just roll what if where jay ferin gets zapped into wonderlust in blink's place. within five minutes of being there she's shot troy in the face, he's fully dead. within an hour, she's fucked aeon. within a day, her and runt at best friends and invent a teleporter powerful enough to transcend realms. she's home by hour 27 with promises to return regularly
Troy is the dumbest fucking guy ever. He's such an asshole. An ignorant idiot. The worst kind of twink. He's dumb as a rock and only knows how to fucking toboggan.
I love him.
Can't wait for Runt to meet him and Blink. I'm way too invested. It's almost 3 am, I just finished the first episode, doesn't matter, who needs sleep? Not me. I only need Troy Lougferd.
