Headcanon: with a clingy younger brother

To Jotaro, there is nothing more annoying than a little brat clinging on him 24/7, lucky for (Y/N) however, he gets the family exception. Jotaro still acts as if he was just endlessly annoyed, but, like their mother, (Y/N) knows he’s loved by his older brother

Due to his bullying experiences, he actually kind of prefers his little brother close, not as close as he actually is, but it's okay

It gives him a sense of security knowing (Y/N) is okay and being able to protect him if anything were to happen

He uses the fact his little brother looks up to him as an adventage, actually

Jotaro doesn't want him to depend on him, or need him for protection forever, that's why he actively teaches him self defense, using his little brother’s admiration to keep him motivated through it all

(Y/N), of course, his so happy to spend quality time with his big bro and have him teach him to be just as strong as he is, but his clinginess doesn't falter much, if at all

It’s an emotional attachment, after all. (Y/N) doesn’t cling to Jotaro just because he thinks he’s cool, but rather because he cares for him, loves him

Believe me when I say; hell broke loose when Jotaro just suddenly disappeared, leaving (Y/N) alone with their sick mother and strangers taking care of her. He was confused, scared, hurt. It wasn’t above him to try and sneak out, but after some convincing, he ended up staying to make sure his mother was okay

Once Jotaro returned- things changed. He learned a certain thing on his deathly journey, among many other things. To treasure the people you have in the here and now.

While still not being completely open with what he’s feeling, he opened up a bit, opening his arms more for his little brother, being less stern with him. Just, show him what he knew all along; that he loved him
