Since you and Megumi attended the Technical College a bit longer than Itadori and Nobara did, Megumi was fully aware of your disorder since your nose happened to bleed a few times when you went on missions with him.

He brings a small packet of tissues for you <3

So when you had your first meeting with Itadori and Nobara, your nose bled while you were talking.

Nobara was freaking out a bit.

Itadori was surprisingly neutral about it.

Gojo is also aware of your disorder but, he really doesn’t come prepared with napkins or tissues.

While you were explaining to Itadori and Norbara about your disorder, Megumi was pulling out few tissues for you.

Skipping forward.

You, the first years, and second years were hanging around the dormitories because it was a free day.

You had a nose bleed while talking to the second years.

You had your right hand over your nose.

Blood was pooling up in your hand.

Inumaki had napkins in his pocket when he noticed droplets of blood seeping through your fingers.

The three of them hurried you in Maki’s bathroom(since it was the closest room to you) so you could wash your hand and your face with cold water.

If you managed to get blood on your uniform, Panda will go to your dorm to grab you a new set of clothes to change into.

Inumaki had left to put your uniform in the washer.

Maki handed you a water bottle to keep you hydrated after you finished changing and placed a box of tissues next to you.

There was a knock at the door.

Nobara opened the door, “Hey Maki, do you- Oh, you have another nose bleed y/n?”

“Their nose was dry from the air conditioning” Panda said.

“Oh no, It's not because of the air conditioning. I was diagnosed with a blood clotting disorder” You said.

Please explain to the second years what your disorder is.

“, so my nose bleeds at random times” you concluded.

From then on, the second years kept a small packet of tissues on them when they are with you, the same goes for the first years <3

then, suddenly you stop and wasn’t aware that even happened, that a was toootally not weird to them

“It would be an honor to become a stepping stone for Jujutsu Sorcerers in order to achieve hope and spread it all over the world... Hey, what’s wrong? Did I say something bad?”

Like, you would train with Maki and them.

Then you would say something super unsettling things,

“Hey, did you know bodies decompose faster in water but, it depends on the temperature of the water. They also decompose faster in hot temperature.”

They would be looking at you like you commited murder like-

“Oh, I’m sorry. Haha..Trash like me shouldn’t even speak to you guys like we’re buddies.”

Like, you weren’t even aware you said some disturbing things???

When you start self-deprecating, sometimes you will get smacked lol.

Either by Maki, Nobara, and Megumi.

Other times, some will get annoyed by your rants about hope and you self-deprecating.

Although, you are very polite, friendly, and easy-going.

Put your obsessions with hope on the down low lol.

Other than that, you are quite the lucky person but, with that luck comes bad luck.

It’s like a cycle.

It’s a surprise you aren’t dead yet.

The first and second years try to avoid you and Gojo from contacting each other.

Like this mans, he will literally mention hope to you just to mess with the others.

If there did happen to be a curse situation, she'd be pissed and tell you to stay behind (doesn't matter if you're a sorcerer or not) and keep the bed warm, and wait till she gets back

Toge and Panda cackle as Maki grumbles about "not getting cuddles for this shit"

If they tease her for going soft, Maki is going to turn around and fight Toge and Panda once the curse is dealt with

She'll come back to you all annoyed and just hide her face in your shoulder as she holds you

If a curse doesn't interrupt though, she's gonna want to order some food so you two can eat while you binge a show (personally i'd wanna binge 90 day fiance with Maki. that'd be so fun)

Is gonna have her hands resting on your stomach if you're fully laying down, but if you're propped up cause you're watching a show, then she'll have one hand supporting her head to look over you and the other on your stomach

This doesn't have anything to do with cuddling, but Maki desperately wants to show you off to her family to piss them off. Obviously that's not why she's with you, she's with you cause she loves you, but its just an added benefit

Becoming a clan head and having you as her wife instead of taking a shitty husband?? Sounds like her perfect life (manga readers shut up I just want Maki to be happy ;-;)

Anyway, back to cuddling

The only way you could tell if Maki was falling asleep is by taking off her glasses and setting them down on your nightstand

While sleeping, she holds you even tighter if that's possible

Might even give you a sleepy peck on the temple or cheek

Your cuddles are her stress relief tbh, and they also help her when she's sad

Tbh, I can really only see Maki being into women. Mai is kind of both, with possibly a male preference? But she's most likely never been with a woman, since the Zen'in family would obviously be homophonic, so Mai probably has some internal homophobia. But we can all agree Megumi is pansexual cause of what he said to Todo

ANYWAY

Maki doesn't give a shit if someone walks in on the cuddling. All the more reason to show that you're hers soo...

Although she wants whoever just walked in to leave so she can relax again

She'd only want you to hold her if it had been a particularly hard day, if Mai went too far with the insults, or if she had been injured

She absolutely hates being vulnerable, which is why she almost never is the little spoon (also her reaction to Yuta saying he'd help her take down the Zen'in clan)

But, when she does show her vulnerability, don't expect her to show everything underneath all at once. She'll reveal it bit by bit to see your reaction, then rework her future actions and words depending on your reaction

My best advice? Be comforting and calm, but not smothering. Don't push her to talk about anything if she says she doesn't want to, offer cuddles and/or food while watching old re-runs or starting a new show. Offer to listen if she needs it, just let her know that you're there for her if she chooses to open up and talk about it. If not, smile and respect her boundaries, give her a few kisses, then start talking about something else to take her mind off of it

Don't do all of that in one sitting though. You can do different things for each time, and be slow about it. If you do all of that at once, you'll smother her

Maki is a big girl and can handle her problems, it just takes time for her to initially heal and return to normal. She'll be okay, you don't need to worry about her

maki:

in light of chapter 144, maki’s appearance sparked havoc due to her injuries and haircut. many realized the parallel between her and toji, but yk me being the genius that i am, i realized this when gege first introduced toji fushiguro’s character.

toji cannot utilize cursed techniques, therefore, having no use in the jujutsu world, just like maki. they both are cast aside and looked down on by their family. they also resent their family and left. the parallels between the two are undeniable.

in chapter 110 maki meets toji for the first time, baffled by his technique, despite him not being able to use cursed techniques as well. at this moment my theory was proven. toji is maki at her best.

flash forward to chapter 144, maki’s haircut is similar to toji’s. how is maki going to utilize her experience with toji? how is she going to maneuver herself to be like toji or even, one day, surpass him?

maybe maki is “destined” to be a better version of toji. toji is an anti-hero, someone who isn’t good nor bad. he wasn’t a good father but genuinely cared for his son. i believe maki will become better and utilize this “misfortune”.

her motivation, drive is admirable. i love maki.

it was mentioned by momo before that a man with scars is seen as honorable, but scars on women are seen as flaws. maki now has scars across her face. how is that going to affect how the zen’in family views her?

Heterosexual shippers in the jjk fandom is a prime example of the double standards between queer ships and het ships.

I think we all know the amount of flak queers ships receive with comments such as “they’re just friends” that aren’t used against het ships. All the m/f relationships (besides mechamiwa) are canonically platonic and will stay platonic, as confirmed by the author. Yet people seem to dismiss this in favor of their het ships and claim that they’re canon.

People are quick to pair Yuuji and Nobara (which we all know is simply because Nobara is a girl and Yuuji is a boy) and no one blinks an eye but If I were to head down to the YouTube comment sections and say I ship Megumi and Yuuji, I would get slammed with responses telling me “their just friends, stop making everything gay” even though yuuji and nobara are just as platonic, probably even more so than Yuuji and Megumi.

You know it’s funny seeing dudebros commonly make jokes on how “Yaoi fangirls” ship male characters who even hate it each other and then try to tell me Gojohime (Gojo x Utahime) is canon. Utahime, a woman who canonically dislikes Gojo, a man who canonically causes her stress will always be interpreted as a “Tsundere” even though that’s not what her character represents. Nanago (Gojo x Nanami) which is basically the same ship dynamic as gojohime isn’t treated as fairly. In a jujutsu Stroll episode, Gojo asks Nanami out on a date, but if you ship them, you’re just a crazy fangirl but if we were to replace Nanami with Utahime during that scene, we all know Gojohime would considered “basically canon” unlike Nanago

Satosugu (Gojo and Getou), the most heavily romantic coded paring in the entire series yet people still can’t fathom why others ship it.

Yeah just ignore the romantic language, the romantic break up theme songs, literally their entire relationship and I could see where you’re coming from.

And don’t get me started on the Yutamaki and Nobamaki debate. On any Nobamaki post you’ll see floods of comments claiming that “Maki has a crush on Yuta” because she blushed in that one scene, completely ignoring the fact that in Gege’s old art style, blushing is common and is mostly used to enhance a character’s emotion. Using the “Maki blushed argument”, that must mean Yuta must have a crush on Inumaki because he blushed while looking at him right?

Not only that but Nobara and Maki mutually blush in a scene where Gege uses their new style where blushing is used more sparingly but that doesn’t seem to count. Instead, many straight people will riot against Nobamaki with claims such as “They’re a sibling relationship!” or “Nobara just compliments Maki a lot because she views her as her role model” as if their specific interpretation is the objectively correct one.

I don’t care if you ship an m/f ship, but stop putting down queer ships and giving het ships special treatment.

Sorry for the rant-y post, the terrible comments under a Nobamaki tiktok post just tipped me over the edge.

Edit: I already know m/f experience hate or whatever but personally I just really don’t care. Why? Because the reasonings are different. Shipping discourse will always occur but the discourse surrounding queer ships are ALWAYS a result of homophobia, actual real world consequences. This was a post about the double standards between queer ships and het ships being valid, these standards stemming from homophobia.
