tina needs a best friend, especially because the friends in her group really aren't great most of the time. and ever since her introduction in season nine's UFO No You Didn't, susmita seems like the PERFECT person to fulfill that role! i love their friendship and feel like susmita should be a far more prominent character than she is. gene and louise have established best friends, AND TINA DOESNT PLEASE

i won't waste much time explaining why, i'll just drop two clips from season four's Fort Night. darryl and louise's dynamic in that episode is fucking golden and i wish they brought it back even just once

THIS TRIO IS SO FUCKING GOOD OKAY and the reason i love them so much is season six's Stand By Gene, the episode the screenshot is from. a year ago i compiled their scenes in that ep and posted the video right here, if you want to see why exactly im this crazy about them. (it's only a minute long and i'm mad about it) they're fucking hilarious and simply wonderful i hope they hang out like this again
not to mention that jimmy jr and jocelyn were the original ‼️ friends ‼️ before tammy came along! they were hanging out a whole season before that bitch's introduction. i like to think that even after both tammy and zeke moved to seymour's bay and became best friends with jocelyn and jimmy jr respectively, jocelyn and jimmy jr still hang out often. maybe even have some girly sleepovers together. definitely watching romcoms or hallmark movies during the holidays. and they DEFINITELY gossip and talk shit together (about tammy a lot too). she's like the sister he never had!!
Jimmy Jr and Tina *Spoiler/rant sorta*
This may be an unpopular opinion but I feel like people are being way too hard on Jimmy Jr after that V for Valentinedetta episode. Before anyone gets on my case Tina is my favorite character and I do feel like Jimmy Jr did some messed up stuff in this episode but I'm seeing posts calling him a thot and fuccboi. Like I really don't understand how anyone can ever call him that when Tina is literally the only girl he's ever shown feelings for in the entire show before this. How can you call him a thot when he's never been with anyone else? Becky is literally the only girl he's ever shown feelings for aside from Tina and that didn't even last long. He didn't even treat her to the same standard he did Tina in most episodes.
Ya'll seem to forget he is a 13 year old boy. He is entitled to be an asshole to some degree. Find me a 13 year old that's not an asshole sometimes and I bet you the show doesn't represent relationships or teenagers realistically. He's going through puberty and he just became a teenaager. Teens can be dicks. It's obvious he likes Tina, even his friends know he likes her. Jocelyn pretty much yelled it in the hall. She was his first freaking kiss and we've never seen him or anyone else mention him talking to another girl. He's shown his feelings plenty of times. Before this he's never been an asshole with the intention of being one. He was just being a teenage boy that wanted to hang out with his best friend and pal around. There were episodes where it was clear he was an awkward boy dealing with a girl he likes. There was a whole episode on it where he admitted he felt better talking to her through a screen. He wanted to sell his bike to take her on a damn date. He bought her a rose to surprise her since she was running the carnation booth. Whenever she calls him to hangout he's always there and whenever she needs help and he's around he actually tries to help or shows some concern for her. This isn't something you do for someone you don't care about.
To sit here and say he's manipulating Tina or he doesn't actually like her or he just sees her as an option or that they're in a toxic relationship is bull. They're fucking 13. They're not supposed to have their shit together yet. And if Jimmy Jr doesn't want to be in a relationship yet then so fucking be it he's 13 he's got time. He's also clearly dealing with his parents divorce and having an asshole for a father that doesn't like Tina's dad nor is he supportive of him in his own personal ventures. He has issues too. He doesn't need to get on one knee and proclaim his love for Tina all the time. He's probably scared after watching what happened with his parents. He has no basis for how to treat a girl when his own parents didn't last. He's aloof and awkward and sometimes an idiot but that comes with the territory of growing up. He doesn't treat Tina nearly as horribly as one might think especially in comparison to how others treat her. Her family's pretty supportive but sometimes they can be dicks to her too and so can the other kids at school. Jimmy Jr doesn't say anything about her or do anything to her and he can be protective of her too.
And don't get me started on Tina. I love Tina I really do but to sit here and pretend she's never done anything and is just the most perfect partner in the world is bull too. Every other episode Tina is falling for another guy. Heaven forbid Jimmy Jr shows interest in another girl when Tina has gone and dated, chased, and full on made out with like thirty other guys. She literally became a life gaurd in training just so she could roll in the sand with other guys. Don't sit here and call him a fuccboi for showing interest in one other girl when Tina can date every other guy under the sun and no one says anything. Tina can be kinda weird and awkward and a lot of things that most boys would turn their backs on her for being. Jimmy Jr accepts her as she is. He likes her as she is. He likes her for the awkward, erotic friend fiction writing, zombie loving, walking teenage disaster that she is. Even knowing the fact that Tina falls easily he likes her. Can you imagine having feelings for someone that turns around and falls for every cute and sometimes average guy or girl that crosses their path? That's gotta be frustrating. This girl imagined up a relationship with a damn goose and Jimmy Jr still liked her and even helped the goose despite being injured and having it attack him. Tina can also be a bit of a hot mess. She easily gets manipulated and sucked into other peoples plans and being a Belcher she constantly draws trouble to herself without fail but he still likes her and even goes along with things when he can just as easily ignore her and leave.
Obviously what he did with her gift was a real shit thing to do but this is only one time where he was an actual major asshole among many other times where he was really just clueless or absolutely head over heels for her. To be honest while Jimmy Jr can be aloof at times Tina at least can be pretty assured in their status with the fact that he tends not to give his attention to other girls and spends his time more between her and Zeke. He can't even have that with how often Tina is interested in a new guy. And this is not to victim blame or put Tina down for showing interest in other guys than just Jimmy Jr. I think it's great that she's learning what she likes and falling in love is part of being a teenager. But you can't say it's great for her then get upset when Jimmy Jr decides to go on a single date. Hell in one of the most recent episodes Tina ran up and kissed Jimmy Jr in the hall then when she bumped into Zeke she kissed him too. No one is getting upset at her for that. No one is saying she's playing with their feelings. No one points out that it's fucked up that she would make out with him then kiss his best friend behind his back. Had Jimmy Jr done that there would be people screaming bloody murder. That's not fair to call him all kind of stuff and say he doesn't deserve her when she's pulling stuff like this.

Just watched the mascot episode. I am now a Tina/Zeke for life girly.
