Actually, I think believing Jean did not have romantic feelings for Renee is erasing his canon bisexuality.
Say what you want about Renee since she doesn't have a canon / implied [queer] sexuality (though she WAS canonically in love w Jean and to believe otherwise is to not have media literacy, sorry!) but Jean IS canonically bisexual, and his attraction to Renee shows that. Nora did confirm he was canonically bisexual in a Tumblr comment, but even if she didn't, he would still be canonically bisexual because of the fact he is very explicitly attracted to both men and women in TSC!!!!!! ITS SO EXPLICIT!!! People act like just bcuz a character hasnt said "I am bisexual" it means their bisexuality isnt there and is allowed to be erased. If you can honestly sit there and believe Jean had romantic feelings for Kevin, but not for Renee, ur just biphobic.

I think Wymack's heart probably broke as he kept watch over a sleeping Jean and saw how terrorized Jean was by nightmares.
In those moments, he probably had the realization that Jean could never be one of his Foxes because the fight had been viciously carved out of Jean.
Wymack knows he's able to help them as long as there's some fight left, but Jean was past that point. Jean couldn't even allow himself to feel his anger; he needed to go someplace that would heal him enough that he could start to stand on his own again or, barring that, someplace that would hold him up if he was no longer able to stand.

Or Renee’s POV while getting to know Jean. We know Jean was instantly mesmerized by her, but did she also see something in him at the banquet? Did she recognize something in his sad eyes? Did she at some point start hoping that they would work out?
Cause they started texting —> and next thing Renee is breaking into the Nest to save him

one of my jean hcs is that he hates the taste of alcohol so when he gets to california someone gets him those really strong fruity drinks that dont even taste like liquor. after a while he tries to stand up and has to sit back down. mr tallest aftg character getting drunk on like raspberry daiquiris is so funny to me

Haven't read the sunshine court yet because, 1. I'm becoming illiterate and have only listened to audiobooks since last year, and 2. I lowkey don't fuck with jeanxjeremy in theory and I don't know how that's gonna turn out (is it even happening?? I know nothing) 😭
