The Jade emperor just wanted to retire in the coolest way possible but couldn't find a decent excuse

Wait real quick so azure killed the jade emperor and became the new jade emperor right?

So what’s gonna happen when azure gets kicked out? They can’t bring back the old jade emperor right? His kinda a little to dead for that

So is monkey king going to be the emperor?? Mk says in the last episode “there only one man who fought the jade emperor and live to tell the tale” (or something like that) so his def going to use monkey king to fight azure but if monkey king kills azure (which I hope not I actually think he’s a pretty cool character) wouldn’t he become the new Jade emperor????

If so are we gonna have a “monkey king does not want this position” which would eventually lead to him passing the Jade emperor tittle to someone else? Is Erlang gonna come and take it? Or maybe sun Wukongs tells Mk “I know a guy- he hates me and it’s a mutual feeling but I’m sure he’ll help out”

Will he give the thrown to Mk? Jade emperor Mk au anyone???? Will they do some time traveling bullshit to put back the old jade emperor on the thrown???

Are they gonna let azure keep the jade emperor tittle since they don’t have anyone else to cover it?

I NEED ANSWERS-

Some context: I won't go into details cause it is not that important, but if you saw a previous post of mine then you know. Essentially Wukong reminded me of another similar character (Person A) I like and I was thinking about the Person B that they are shipped with and how Person B is kinda like if the Jade Emperor went in disguise as a human, and was a tease that no one would ever believe to do something like that cause he's always serious and has that scary deadpan face.

And then I brought it back to JttW--leaving me with the Jade Emperor hiding as a totally normal human, and becoming friends with Wukong. And maybe lovers. Chaotic, I had to share. Or not even hiding as Tripitaka, Wukong just burst into heaven and Jade Emperor is curious about the pretty and very strong monke rather than weary and fearful in canon.

I heard he has an empress but I haven't seen much past some posts and a brief search. It seems mostly a Taoism thing, and since JttW blends the 3 religions... eh maybe they aren't married or they are and take in the monke together.

Edit; I want to add that I was reading through @quitealotofsodapop and the one I'm particularly thinking about is Smokey/RebornSWK. Though the character I'm comparing to is more like BookSWK.
