Ismael Cruz Córdova is getting harassed (he's playing Arondir in LOTR: Rings of Power)

Every. Time. Every single time a black actor plays a character of importance in any given franchise, these """fans"""" just crawl out of the woodwork and harass them.
He was already being harassed. For two years, prior to the show's release. Two years.

He shouldn't have to go through this.
I've been trying to see fan reactions to the series, and all I see are people throwing temper tantrums and having racist meltdowns, saying their favorite franchises are "ruined," and "smeared," and whatever else word they can use that isn't diverse. Actually, they're outright saying they don't think black people belong in the show at all.
Support Ismael Cruz Córdova, because I can only imagine how much shit he's going through right now.

My rating:
⭐⭐⭐

Arondir is the elfiest elf. He has a preternatural stillness and just embodies beauty in all its facets—joy, grief, hope, wonder, steadfastness. His appreciation for the earth and things that grow feels intrinsic and utterly authentic. Truly a beautiful performance from Ismael.
