After the loops are finally broken, Siffrin’s exhaustion catches up to them all at once when they least expect it. Cue immense concern from his family members.

Hi. Companions au.... do sif and odile get to have secret condos in ka buan......
Siffrin's Ka Buan is exceptionally simple. He's never visited Ka Bue with Odile, so what little he knows is basic phrases he picked up as a kid. Mostly different variants of "I'm hungry" which he repeated often as a child. (And probably as an adult. Just to bother Odile.)
She mostly focused on teaching him Vaugardian and Poterian (Vagardian since he already knew some of it, and Poterian since that's where they met each other)
Since odile has already dealt with one child, does this affect how she treats Bonnie in the au? Or does she treat sif the same way canon odile treats bonnie?
I think Odile has always been pretty good with kids? At least, that's how I interpret her. Though, raising Siffrin likely taught her how to better help with Bonnie's more emotional issues. Siffrin was a pretty sensitive kid, probably pretty weepy, so she's definitely grown a bit more gentle in this au because of that.
I feel like she makes jokes about Bonnie being way easier to handle than Siffrin was at their age. Because at least Bonnie tells people when they want something/when somethings wrong, rather than her having to coax it out of them like she did for the majority of Sif's childhood.

Not much changes in this case.
Odile definitely susses out that Isabeau likes Siffrin before he tells her. Because... Isa isn't exactly the best at being subtle about his big fat crush. Though, Isabeau may be a bit more hesitant to actually share it with her in this au.
Odile approves! She's a bit more encouraging/pushy for Isabeau to just confess already because she knows how oblivious Siffrin can be. She tells Isa that he's going to have to spell it out for them or they simply will not notice. She's also teases Isabeau a lot more about it. In front of Siffrin. Because of their aforementioned obliviousness.
In one of the bathroom convos, Isabeau asks Odile how she'd feel about him dating Siffrin. Odile basically just says that Siffrin is an adult and Isabeau doesn't need her permission. She also says that she'll save the Shovel Talk for when Isabeau actually confesses.
Are there any quirks that sif picks up from odile or vice versa? I imagine they both have VERY intense glares...
The glare thing is correct, he picked up the Odile Stare! Now instead of avoiding eye contact they bore into your soul! (Not unlike act 5 Siffrin. But, y'know ALL the time)
Lots of gem-based exclamations too, along with some other Ka Buan words he picked up. I feel like Siffrin heard Odile swear once as a kid and never let the word go.
She doesn't realize it before the loops, but she figures it out extremely early when Siffrin starts looking into the forgotten island during them. Kind of like... an extra Sus Quest? She finally puts two and two together when Siffrin starts talking about running away from home, but decides to drop that information on them once they beat the King.
She feels, just a tiny bit stupid for not realizing before. I imagine it's very satisfying to get some answers out of your enigma of a traveling companion.
Part of the reason she never realized is that Odile sort of just... stopped looking for answers about a year after she met Siffrin. The idea of him suddenly finding his family or finding his home and losing her strange little ward forever was a bit of a secret fear of hers. So subconsciously she just started shrugging off the mystery, fearing that she may not like the answer. (It is something she feels extremely guilty about.)
Abandonment issues!
What would a traveling companions but Odile loops au look like? Or one where they both loop?
Ohhh boy. An Odile loops au combined with Traveling Companions would be rough. Especially if Loop is still a factor here. Because, imagine that? Your mentor/kinda maternal-figure just doesn't recognize you anymore? Changing so much that you become a stranger in the eyes of your closest companion? Yikes!
If they're both looping... I feel like they'd figure out the problem pretty quickly tbh. Or at least Odile does.
Does Sif ever consider telling odile about the loops??
They get close! Since they're so used to going to Odile for help. Either they chicken out or they go through with telling her and it goes so wrong (in their eyes) that they loop back immediately and vow to never tell her anything ever again.
He also feels guilty about how much they've relied on her throughout his life. Because how dare he need things as a child???? Absolutely unforgivable.
post canon, would sif dye their hair black again just to see if others would comment on how they look like their "mom"? or is he gonna embrace that unknown heritage with white hair
Nah. Post-canon Siffrin mentions dyeing his hair again, and the next day Odile dyes her hair white instead.
