so… imagine andre sets off one of the bombs, throwing it at a group of students and running off. cal stays behind, though, as he sees a student with a piece of shrapnel almost directly in their stomach, bleeding profusely. the student cries out as cal comes closer and kneels next to the boy who is a couple grades below him.

cal puts his hands on the wound. when he pulls back, his hands are painted red. the sight excites him, makes his heart beat impossibly faster. the only negative is the boy himself, specifically the life that still exists within him. cal brandishes a knife he had hidden in his belt and aims it for the boy’s throat. he doesn’t miss.

the blond boy runs his hands through his hair before returning to andre, transforming the pale color into a sickly maroon. when andre sees cal, he notices that the boy’s normally blue eyes are now dark, almost black and dilated with power. the smile cal gives andre is bright and speckled with blood.
