I want to add that ND people ( and i dont think I'm reaching with that... we've talked about it before) are well known to relate to each other through memes, quotes, analogies, and other shared references.
And in order to have those shared references, they must have shared A LOT.
Like, they have to have watched the movie, talked about the movie, and then referenced the movie A TON OF TIMES for it to have become part of their shared language.
This is not a one time thing.
There’s no way two people have this many inside jokes unless they spend an insane amount of time together. Plus it’s always them in their own world while the other members watch with confused or amused looks on their faces.
I think one of the things these two do on the numerous nights they spend together “doing nothing” , is watch movies.
one of my favourite things about Teto Territory is that it's literally a really specific niche parody of a parody of a song about Suwako from Touhou that's also parodying like 50 other things, including the "Cirno is the strongest" joke in the Touhou fandom and Nico Nico Megahits. additionally, Teto Territory also uses Cirno's melody in reference to Teto being an April Fools joke and her favourite phrase, which is "You really are stupid", because in this context, it references the "Cirno is a baka" joke which originated from the screen layout for Touhou 9 that labels Cirno as "9. Idiot" which then became a huge joke in the Touhou fandom. there's like a hundred layers of extremely specific in-jokes and parody going on here and i love it.
The only reason why I don't get enough sleep is because of spending the whole night thinking up meme concepts which I'll never have the courage and motivation to create.
