Inosuke X You - Tumblr Posts
This is so wholesome I’m dying 🥹
Hey is it ok if you could write for inosuke?
So basically,Inosuke would be aggressively running around the forest looking for pretty flowers to pluck for us because he originally got the idea from Zenitsu when he said something like “pretty girls(boys) deserve the prettiest flowers!” While on the subject of romance for some reason.
And just imagining him laughing and scaring away all the wildlife around the area and then coming back to us all covered in dirt with a messy bouquet of small and large flowers, some with broken stems,roots, and even some weeds in there accidentally in there just seems really cute and funny to me <3
He’d be blushing if we took it and complemented it and him <3
Oh and He’d also be all like “HAH MY HUSBAND IS GONNA LOVE THESE FLOWERS! OFCOURSE HE IS! I PICKED THEM AFTER ALL”
OH MY GOSH THIS IS SO ADORABLE!
Inosuke x male reader! Fluff

You were at the house hanging up some clothes outside while insuko was out with tanjiro and zenitsu. They were finally done with a long mission and were heading home. zenitsu had run into another girl that he tried to get to marry him. Tanjiro had to drag him off of the poor girl so he wouldn’t scare the girl away. Insuko and tanjiro had to listen to zenitsu talk about sappy stuff for the next hour. Until something caught inosuke ears.
“The pretty girls deserve the prettiest flowers!” Zenitsu had stated.
“What about pretty boys?” Inosuke asked.
“I guess so” Zenitsu said, and continued talking about the pretty girl.
A few hours later, inosuke saw in the corner of his eye, a flower patch. Without warning, he runs as fast as he can to the colorful flower patch, and starts picking flowers as fast as he can, while tanjiro and Zenitsu watch in confusion. After a bit, he yells “MY HUSBAND ARE GOING TO LOVE THESE! THERE HAND PICKED BY ME AFTER ALL!”
The sudden realization hits, insuko has a boyfriend. WAIT INOSUKE HAS A BOYFRIEND?! Every started at the mixed flowers and..weeds that he picked. They were confused and surprised that inosuke had a male lover. Insuko happily marched back to your meeting spot where you were playing with some kind garden snakes. Inosuke threw himself on you and gave you a hug. Surprised, you held him close. He excitedly handed you some of the flowers that he picked.
You take them and smile, you take off his bore head and give his a deep kiss. he giggles happily and kisses back. You both tumble to the ground and laugh happily. You grab his hips abs place him in your lap as you braid a piece of his hair. He giggles in his usual mean voice. He loves when you braid his hair. Makes him happy.
Tanjiro and Zenitsu look to see there very tough and mean friend, getting his hair braided by his male lover, and they were honestly confused. They saw this man pick flowers, FLOWERS for his boyfriend. Eventually he got up and took your hand, lifting you up he holds your hand and kisses it. He gives you one last kiss before putting his bore head on and walking off to find his two friends.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Inosuke, what do you think?" You step from your closet holding up two swimsuits, "Which one should I wear?" Inosuke turns his head from your bed to look at your choices.
A blue one piece with cuts near your waist and a black two piece with golden clasps resting on your hips and the two triangle pieces meant to cover your chest.
Shiny.
"That one." He points to the black one before he goes back to playing his game. Smiling to yourself you walk into your bathroom and get yourself ready, excited to go to the pool on the hot day. Maybe even meet someone, though your 'dates' always seemed to bail before you can actually get to know them, specifically when you introduce them to Inosuke.
Shrugging those thoughts away, knowing that he would never do that to you, you finish getting ready and slide your sandals on, "Ready, Inosuke?" Nodding he tosses his game onto your bed and rushes to grab both your bags before grabbing your hand and dashing out the house.
Giggling to yourself, you follow as best you can, keeping up with him is difficult. You both make it to the pool in record time, quickly finding the best chairs in the shade and setting your things down to claim them. Taking out your sunscreen you quickly grab a hold of Inosuke before he can run away, "Wait, you need sunscreen."
Grumbling he tries to pull away, but you already have him on the chair in front of you, sitting in his lap to keep him still and squirting some in the palm of your hand. His hands automatically went to your hips and held you in place, a firm grasp that you had become used to.
Focused on making sure you got sunscreen everywhere on his face you failed to notice the way he looked at you. Like you were a shiny rock he had found on his way to your house. Or the prettiest acorn he had discovered on his many ventures to the woods.
Running your hands down his neck and along his broad shoulders, rubbing in the fresh sunscreen you had put in your hand, he slowly relaxed into your touch as he watched your every move. As if he was mesmerized by you and the way your hands felt on his toned body. A contrast of your soft delicate hands and his defined hard muscles.
Soft.
Once you had gotten the sunscreen all over him you moved off and he bolted to the pool before he jumped in, splashing a group of kids who giggled with glee as they looked at him in awe and begged him to do it again. "Ah, new minions!" His loud voice carried over to where you sat and watched him play with the kids, obviously happy to have his own 'minions'.
You pulled out the book you had started reading and laid back into your chair, content with hearing Inosuke's voice and getting lost in what your book was about. The whole day was spent reading, flirting with a boy that had approached you, and fighting off Inosuke who would try to drag you into the pool, booming about needing his favorite minion for his kingdom and whatnot.
The announcement for closing time sounded from the speakers and you grabbed your things as you called Inosuke over. He rushed over and grabbed his things before he whispered, "Are we gonna come again later, like last time?" Chuckling, you nod, "Sure, but just after closing time."
You both walk back to your place and grab snacks before going into your living room. Inosuke flops on the floor as you sit on the couch with your legs tucked under you, both of you munching away on snacks with the television turned on for background noise. The atmosphere relaxed and pleasant.
Time passes quickly and soon enough Inosuke is pulling you back onto your feet and dragging you to the door, "Wait Inosuke, I don't even have my sho- ah!" Inosuke had simply thrown you over his shoulder and snatched your bag up before he bolted out the door, "I can carry you!"
Small.
Once again, you both make it to the pool in record time, your tummy a bit sore from your placement on Inosuke's broad shoulder. He plops you down on the concrete and you pout up at him, "That hurt." He only ruffles your hair roughly then jumps into the pool. Huffing quietly to yourself you fix your hair and look up at the sky.
The stars shine brightly above you, the cool breeze rustling the leaves from the trees, making a few fall. A smile forms and you relax under the sky, everything calm and quiet. Too quiet.
Looking around you find yourself alone, nobody in or around the pool. "Inosuke?" You hear a door slam from nearby and jump, your heart beating fast as you look around frantically. You see the light from the bathrooms on and sigh, he must've had to use the restroom.
You turn back to the sky and relax once again before dipping your feet into the cool water beside you. Swinging your legs back and forth, the water splashes quietly and you relax once again. You hear the door slam and wait for Inosuke to jump back into the pool, but he doesn't, you don't hear his footsteps or see him.
Just as you're about to call out to him and look around, you're shoved into the water, a large hand gripping your head and holding you down firmly. You thrash and grip the arm of whoever is holding you, digging your nails into their flesh, scratching and hitting their arm as much as you can. Nothing works.
You can't breathe. Water surrounds you. Your eyes and nose burn, your lungs hurt. Air. That's all you can think about. You need it, need to breathe. Air.
Water is splashing all around you. He likes it, likes how easy it is for him to hold you down. You can hear muffled chuckles, but why do they sound so familiar? You're shoved further down, the water seems like it's crushing you. You hurt. You can't breath, is this really how it all ends?
One more minute. That's all he has to wait. He knows, he can sense it. He knows it hurts, but he keeps going. His senses are on overdrive, listening for anyone coming and making sure you're not too far gone, but he knows when to stop. He used all the critters and animals for tests after all.
Everything is warm, you're not so cold anymore. It's starting to hurt less. Inosuke. Inosuke. Inosuke. Suddenly he's all you can think about. His roughness, his confidence, the way he holds onto you when he naps. He'll be devastated when he finds your lifeless body. You welcome the darkness with open arms, apologizing to your beastly best friend before you close your eyes.
Grab.
He looks at you closely before yanking you from the water. He throws a towel over you before grabbing you and your bag then bolting towards the edge of town. Street lights now far behind as he dashes like a madman through the trees, hopping over fallen tree trunks and under hanging branches.
Finally he sees what he's been looking for and runs to it. An abandoned house in a clearing surrounded by caves, dark and scary caves. He knows you hate the dark, you won't run. Even if you did, you won't get far. He knows these woods like the back of his hand. You won't make it.
You wake up cold, wet, and scared. Your body hurts, teeth chattering, as you take in your surroundings. There's a fire going, it's the only light source you have. It's dark outside, quiet for a moment but then wind moves through the trees, shaking the branches, making the house creak and groan.
You're freezing, the fire looks too inviting, so you slowly crawl your way over, your body feeling heavier than you remember. You sit in front of the fire and wrap the towel around your trembling form. Warming up slowly from the fire, you feel someone watching you. You looks around but it's too dark to see, shadows blending together and creating a cloud of darkness you couldn't seem to see past.
A rough hand comes to rest upon your shoulder and from the corner of your eyes you see a think red substance running down the forearm of your captor. Blood. Your heart beats wildly and you fail to see the wicked grin forming on the man behind you.
Run.
Scream.
Do something.
Anything.
Cute
You hear a familiar chuckle, "You can't run, you don't even know where you are, and screaming won't help either. No one lives here." Your blood runs cold as you slowly turn and face the voice. Bright green eyes stare back at you once you fully turn, a grin plastered on his face as he plops down next to you. "I was starting to think you were just gonna sleep till the morning."
Frozen and trembling from the cold, fear, and shock you only stare at Inosuke who pulls you into his lap. The same way you had done so many times before. His rough hands grip your hips but you can no longer find the comfort you once had with him, terror coursing through your veins.
He nuzzles into your neck and holds you firmly against him, his warm body a contrast of your near frozen one. "I wouldn't have done it if you would have told him to go away." He mumbles against your neck and you only blink slowly at him, "If you would have told him to go away I wouldn't have held you underwater."
He looks at you and you feel your nose brush against his as he moves closer, "You always talk to the assholes. I'm right here, I can protect you. I'm stronger than all of them combined. They can't protect you like I can. That's why I took you, so I can keep you all to myself. My favorite minion." His grip tightens on you and he growls quietly to himself, as if remembering all the guys he had seen you with.
"You're mine, only mine." He looks back at you, his once bright green eyes now darkened, and you shrink back only for him to pull you back to him. Your chest now pushed against him, his body warming yours up despite your trembling.
"Mine."
𝙨𝙮𝙣. ━ inosuke expresses his love through acorns.
━ 𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙨. thought this was cute. probably a little ooc but i tried.
━ 𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨. none. just fluff
Inosuke had this habit of gathering acorns for you. Living in the woods his whole life and growing up being raised by boars, he was very obviously one with nature. He understood it. Despite not having the same intense hearing as Zenitzu or nose like Tanjiro, he understood the way trees moved in the breeze, the way the leaves would talk to one another, and the other earthly sounds that surrounded him at all times. He wasn’t a calm and collected person, he knew that. He wasn’t quiet. He was loud, obnoxious, boisterous and lacked patience unless it benefited him.
But he knew the beauty of nature. The way trees stood tall and proud and strong, just like mountains. The way the grass sometimes sparkles after it rains or the way the sun hits the world just the right way as it comes up over the horizon. Its colors fade from the dark of night into nice oranges as the glowing sun takes its place in the sky. But his favorite is at the end of day, when the sun goes down. Where he sits, exhausted, though he’d never admit it, from the events of the day awaiting for what will happen tomorrow. He always knew of these things. Always knew that it was there. But he never took the time to take in every last detail of it. Not until you.
Inosuke liked oak trees. They were big, beautiful and strong; just like his love for you. He gave you acorns because as they were the seeds for those big strong trees, it was like he was handing out his heart to you, handing you his love. He made it his own personal mission to give them to you every chance he could.
He was like a puppy. Getting out of bed earlier than most to go out searching for the perfect acorn. It really shouldn’t take him as long as it does, but he goes through so many just to find the one that's the most shiny, the most strong, the one that will have you singing his praises. He’s inspecting every single one till he’s satisfied and soon he is at your bedside waiting for you to wake up. He could just wake you up himself, in Inosuke fashion; shaking you, loud, and rough, but you look so nice and peaceful. And he has this urge to sit there and wait.
It took a long time for him to understand what love was. At first he thought he was allergic to you. Which confused his little underlings when they demanded to know why he was avoiding you. With the heat rising to his cheeks like a fever and the red that spread over them like a rash, Inosuke assumed that he needed to stay away from you – for his safety and yours.
Tanjiro had to explain it to him. And even though Zenitzu could be found laughing in the background, Inosuke couldn’t be bothered to pay him any attention. Inosuke was too focused reveling in the fact of this new information, that he could finally put a name to what he was feeling. Because surely the redness of your cheeks and the way you stared at him for a little too long meant that you felt the same way too. (you did)
Inosuke knew that he felt weird around you. And it took a long while for him to come to terms that it was a good thing that he felt. He knew that he liked your face and he also knew that he liked being close to you. He liked when your attention was on him, and he especially liked it when you gave him praise for his strength. He also knew that he wanted to keep you safe. He was Lord Inosuke after all, it was his job to keep you safe – whether you were also a demon slayer or not.
So, he gives you acorns. He gives you only a few at a time because you only deserve the best and finding the most perfect ones is almost impossible, as he only has so much time on his hands. Between recovering and going on missions; he eats, breathes and sleeps demon slaying. He wants to be the best and the strongest. But for you, he makes time.
And you keep them. You take them from him as he gently places them into your cupped hands. Inosuke has never handled anything with such care and delicacy in his life. But your hands were so soft; are so soft. And you look so enamored, was that even the correct word? Yes, it had to be. Inosuke watches with such care and concern. You liked them right? Of course. You thank him so graciously, with a smile that could make Inosuke almost melt into a puddle. He's speechless. He doesn’t know why.
He watches as you place them with the others. In a wide mouthed clear mason jar, with a blue bow tied around the top, you reach in your hand and gently place them in. They are on display for anyone who walks into your room, and Inosuke can help but feel prideful.
But then you turn and tell him to wait. He’s confused, though he sees you rummaging through a drawer and he realizes you are looking for something. Something for him.
“This rock reminds me of my love for you. Solid and dependable. They can withstand harsh storms with unwavering strength. It’s … enduring and unyielding. Like someone's love. Some rocks may not be flashy or extravagant, but they don’t need to be. It’s just… this one, when I saw it, I knew that it was something special. Please accept this as if it is my heart.”
You held out this rock, one that Inosuke thought was so nice looking, he didn’t know how you thought it was good enough for him. It was much larger than a pebble and it looked like it was hand picked from the koi pond over at Mr. Tomiokas’ estate.
Inosuke didn’t know if it was a known fact, and honestly, Inosuke or yourself didn’t really care to find out from others – but he admired Mr. Tomioka heavily. It was either between his calm demeanor or his fighting style, but either way, Inosuke thought that he was really cool.
And maybe that admiration extended to the koi pond that Mr. Tomioka had. He liked watching the fish swimming around in the calm water, minding their own business as the world went on around them. Sometimes, when Inosuke went through a little mental crisis, he often thought about what it might be like if he were a fish. Would you love me if I were a koi fish, type thinking process. He used to think how sad that would be. No fighting? No killing demons? How boring. But sometimes, maybe it wouldn’t be so bad. You could keep him in a little fish tank and feed him all the tempura he wanted.
Inosuke knows better than to take one – however – because no matter how much he likes watching them he knows that he can’t take care of it. And he also knows that no one would trust him with one either. Probably thinks that he would eat it too, which he would – probably. At least, not the ones Mr. Tomioka owns. But still, sometimes he watches the Hashira feed them and he notices how the arrangement of stones seems to mirror his personality.
And here he was now, given a stone from his koi pond from you. Somewhere deep inside himself he feels a mixture of excitement and gratitude. He never really expected anything in return. He liked giving you those acorns because that was how he expressed his love for you. How he expresses his appreciation for your existence. But for you to return the sentiment was special to him. It was more than excitement and gratitude, actually. Was he flattered? Maybe that was the word. You’ve used it before when he’d given you things and the smile on your face was blinding. Yes, that was it. He was flattered, and couldn’t help feeling his face getting hot. He had never felt so paid attention to, and Inosuke couldn’t contain himself.
He held the stone in his hand. Held it with such gentleness like it was glass, like if he breathed wrong it would break into pieces. He shot forwards and grasped you into a hug. It was such an Inosuke hug that you couldn’t help but giggle as he held you. He squished you tenderly, rough enough just like Inosuke but soft enough that made you aware of how considerate to your bodily autonomy he was – it made your heart melt beautifully.
His boar head was long discarded and the warmth of his lips on yours was more than welcome.
