Im Working Late Cause Im An Artist - Tumblr Posts

I don’t think I’ve posted much art to this account but here’s a digital sketch I did about a month ago! It’s inspired by how I work with charcoal but the process is still very different trad vs digital for me
Hi I’m alive, have some sketches as a treat <3

Welcome to my blog! <3

I haven't actually introduced myself properly, have I?
Hi, I'm Emilee (she/her)! I'm a graphic design student in Philadelphia, PA. I also am minoring in creative writing, so you'll hopefully get to see both my art and writings!
I want to post more here, but tbf Instagram is my most used social media platform. I highly recommend following me there through my Linktree!
I also have open commissions! There's a link to a form on the Tree as well, but feel free to DM me or even email me if you'd like! I have a Redbubble shop too for some basic stickers.
My asks are always open if you have questions and the like too!
Thanks for reading, and happy scrolling folks <3
PS, if you’d like to help out monetarily (because I’m definitely the broke artist stereotype), I do have Kofi, Cashapp, and PayPal!
My personal tag is #bowlofqueso to play on my alt blog’s username! I’m adding this 9-16-24 so it’ll only be on my posts after that date.

I really don’t have enough of my art posted so I’m gonna spam it a little
Just a charcoal practice piece from the summer because I am terrified that if I don’t practice certain mediums I’ll lose the skill entirely
Have some more art (I’m bad at captions I’m sorry)

This was a Medusa tattoo design a friend commissioned me for. I think I prefer the sketch just a little, but I know line art always kinda kills the energy in sketches unless you do sketchy line art too 🥲

A little hand/lighting study I did over the summer

I made dnd sticker designs a couple months ago for a class!
I took Symbol Families, and one of our projects was to design a series of icons and a way to present them. Being the nerd I am, I made icons for the twelve basic dnd classes (I’m sorry artificers). I made a small “introductory booklet” to the classes that would come with stickers if it was made, too, but I have zero pictures of it saved.
If you’re interested in buying stickers/pins/etc of these designs, they are up on my Redbubble !
If you’re looking for other ways to support me, I have a LinkTree as well.

Some charcoal/pastel/graphite model drawings I did this past spring in my foundation drawing class
If you would like to support me in any way, check out my LinkTree

Finally here’s some graphic design work instead of just random sketches!
In my graphic design class, we had to design a type-logo sort of thing (my prof didn’t exactly call it a logo) out of the words “geometric jazz,” and then we had to make a poster design for it. I have another design I’ve made too, which I’ll post eventually.
The next part of this project is designing a 3D cube with the design as well. I have a sketch of one done but idk if it'll look good yet.
PS: if you’d like to support me monetarily, please check out my PayPal, CashApp, or Venmo. Tips and donations are greatly appreciated as a broke art student :’)

The painting vs the reference
Rittenhouse Square has a really pretty fountain, and when my friends and I were walking through to look at the art sale, we saw these little sparrows bathing in the water. It was the purest thing I’ve ever seen in my life
I definitely didn’t get the proportions or angle right, but I was also listening to an audiobook of Pride and Prejudice for class so my attention was split hehe
I don’t remember the brand of sketchbook this was but it’s on 8x5” watercolor paper and it’s pretty good paper for how cheap the sketchbook was. I think I used only my Koi watercolor set too and a little gouache to get the white highlights and make the brown more opaque
