Im Still Salty About How Many Times Greenland Messed Up My Runs - Tumblr Posts

I remember playing plague inc before the pandemic, and when the game world would all unite to find a cure for your disease I was like ‘yeah, this makes sense’. And when they’d close their county borders when the disease was even a little lethal, I was like ‘yeah, this makes sense. This is an appropriate response.’

Long story short, I deserved to fucking win most of my games knowing what we know now. Realistically, the diseases you create In the game would most likely kill off the human race every single time -considering the possible extreme symptoms. The only time you’d probably lose is if you were too lethal too quickly and killed all of your infected. The real-life global response (from leaders mind you -not medical professionals) was laughable, especially to those who’ve played the game.

The creators of the plague inc -a game where you literally create a disease to kill off all human life -were too optimistic in their faith when it came to global action against disease. And that’s both hilarious and incredibly sad.
