Break ups are hard
I have a srmthfg fic idea where Jinmay breaks up with Chiro (for multiple plot reasons) he’s bottling it all up/expressing it weird and angerly and won’t talk about it cuz of this. The team comes up with the idea that a low stakes escort mission of a diplomat’s child will be the perfect distraction from the break up. Enter an oc, they enter as the classic “teen distracted by phone” trope and upon observing several stifled outbursts of emotions from chiro toward his teammate’s they use past experiences with dealing with their teen break ups to make chiro’s feelings and behaviours make sense to the team but also chiro himself. 🎶ALSO THERE IS A BUNCH DEPRESSION🎶
Ya see, I think Chiro and the team have a strong familial relationship together but I also think that when chiro is having “classic teen drama” the monkeys being so removed from humans may fall short on dealing with certain things. The oc’s talk of break ups make it make more sense to them and the fact that some one so far removed from the situation is identifying with it makes chiro feel more at ease.
But the problem is... the oc SUCKS AT DEALING WITH CRAP. Their “solutions” are more like ignoring the problems and making yourself numb to it all and it’s all really unhealthy. It all builds up to a 3 day “bender” of chiro and oc avoiding their problems by avoiding and running away from the monkey team. All along the way Chiro get a better idea of the “normal” life he left behind by joining the monkey team. He gets a socially media account and gets caught up on intergalactic pop culture. These are things that Chiro never cared about even before the monkey team but somehow they mean something now that he realises the life he’ll never live.
It’s all very Dumb but the tone is that comedy/drama that I just cannot convey so it’s never getting written...
OTHER THINGS:
Jinmay’s motivations are told from chiro’s perspective but chiro is an unreliable narrator to them and the oc sees thru this and explains to chiro the true reasons a girl in Jinmay’s shoes would break up with chiro and makes jinmay her own person more in chiro’s eyes separate from him. (??? It’s a thing Idk... if I could write it make more sense)
The monkeys know humans and stuff it’s just hard sometimes
Chiro can express his emotions as we’ve seen in the show but this break up just got his head all bad
Idk why Antauri can’t get thru I think it’s a stubbornness thing on chiro’s end
The oc is a teen girl Chiro’s age but he is NOT INTERESTED IN HER (she has a “PERSONALITY”) also break up heartache but I feel like it needs to be said
I want y’all to see into my head and UNDERSTAND MY THOUGHTS!!!
What if we stop looking at the big picture and realise that the picture isn't complete without us. What if we simply become a part of the picture we are trying so hard to create?
Aren't all things in this universe or multiverse whatever you believe in, blended and merged together ?
Aren't we all a mixture of everything we know and don't know exists ?
Aren't we all a part of what we are searching and creating?
Weren't we born from chaos ? Then how do we assume that making order out of this world of chaos is gonna help us ?
Wouldn't embracing and encouraging this chaos both inside and outside your grasp make you happier ?
Why do we try to understand things we cannot even begin to fathom?
Who, How, What and When are all the questions we ask to others and ourselves all day everyday.
And why? Nobody knows.
Perhaps we humans are a magical mistake created not by choice or order but chaos all around.
Nobody knows.
We are a manifestation of something majestic and vastly chaotic. A bunch of mortal beings trying to create order out of this chaotic world around us in a very short span of life.
