Things I don’t really see people talking about from Solo:
-They had Lando pronounce Han “Hān”
-and made it REALLY SUPER clear that parsecs were a unit of distance (but made doing the Kessel run in 12 parsecs still really impressive)
-just to cover some relatively minor plot holes from the original trilogy
-and I absolutely loved it.
A concept:
Jaime, Cersei, and Brienne meet towards the end of the book. Jaime stands behind Cersei, and she smirks, knowing she has gotten her brother back. Jaime meets Brienne’s eyes from over her shoulder, says,
“The things I do for love.”
and stabs Cersei in the back.
I want to read the autobiography of Cordelia Vorkosigan because sometimes she would sound just SO BETAN, but other times she would be like ‘and then I held my therapist’s head underwater in a fish tank lol’
