GUY Guys I’m making this 3:40 in the morning so this might make no sense but when you look at the recipe for a grimwalker palismwood ( did I spell that right probably not) was part of the ingredients. Bellos eats palismans for their energy/magic. The other ingredients in the recipe are associated with organs except for the palismwood. What if the wood is what the soul in the body that makes it live and bellos made hunter as a deluxe palisman that hold more magic so when the day of unity arrives he breaks hunter soul for the magic leaving him as a husk.
But it okay because you know why. Luz has some wood. Instead of making a palisman she uses it to save hunter life.
