I gave someone a high five yesterday. It didn't sound good so we tried again. The second time it still wasn't right.

Then she said she knew a trick: if she slapped me in the face, it would sound right afterwards. Before I could react in any way, she slapped me. And then gave me another high five. And sure enough, it sounded perfect??!??

I was so shocked. Not only that she would slap me across the face without warning (it actually hurt). But also that the trick actually worked. I felt so embarrassed. It took me a minute to calm down afterwards (⁠;⁠ŏ⁠﹏⁠ŏ⁠)

Im sure it was just a joke to her. She has a bf and we are friends since childhood!!
