what if arthur hadn't seen faroe's face clearly so long he'd started to forget. what if. what then.

I’m catching up with the Skip to Loafer manga and chapter 27 really cemented my love for Yuzuki and Makoto’s relationship.

Makoto had just experienced a bitter sweet date with a boy while feeling absolutely down with her self image and self esteem. Feeling that no matter how hard she tries, she’ll never be seen as cute or beautiful.

That no amount of work on her part will ever make the boy she likes see her as someone cute or pretty.

Even worse is that in her eyes its really hard for her to look in the mirror and see herself as someone who might be worthy or deserving of such affection.

So what does Yuzuki do after Makoto after realizing that Makoto is feeling down? She invites her to hang out, making sure that her friend won’t end her day on a sour note.

Yuzu literally looks straight at Makoto and tells her that she looks really cute. and oh my god I cannot handle how good this scene was and why it solodified my love for these two together. The fact that Yuzu realized that Makoto probably had a negative image of herself and largely felt unseen and wanted to reassure her that in her eyes, she is someone beautiful. That she see’s her.

Im having a really hard time believing that these two aren’t low key crushing on each other. They have such a deep and loving bond that prompts them to comfort one another and realize how important they are to each other in their lives.

Good Omens, because I have watched this show too many times already and I still love it.
