Absolutely not a new observation but i love that the toki pona word for animal, "soweli," is written like this

also kijetesantakalu being a word in toki pona
that both designates something incredibly specific
and is also very very long compared to everything else in the language
jan sonja's humor is immaculate
i never practiced toki pona enough to speak it
but like just the existence of the language and its community bring me endless amounts of joy
also linguistics is so good
and logography also
