EAT SHIT !

pairing: gamer! rindo x f! reader

synposis: inspired by a hq tiktok of a hc of kenma, and how he obliterates anyone who tries to flirt with you during an online match while he’s in the room nonetheless.

notes: not proofread. repost from my other blog.

warnings: make out session, cursing, soft. there’s a mention of dicks.

EAT SHIT !

Being an avid watcher of games, you think you’ve honed your instincts some. But that’s only when it comes to watching people play.

When it comes to you playing those same games, you prove to be helpless, fumbling controls, not knowing the right combos, and not knowing how to navigate through the game even.

Rindo is starting to realize that all of your “gamer instincts” you claim you’ve built up through watching others is a load of bullshit, and he thinks that it’s especially true now as he stares at you foolishly making your way through the building of this match’s location.

You were supposed to meet everyone on the upper floor, but you’ve been been stuck on the ground floor for twenty minutes, slew of murmurs leaving your mouth as you try and navigate around a corner that leads you to where you just were.

Your teammates ask where you are, and you nervously tell them that you’re stuck in a maze of corridors, avatar hitting into the walls and furniture because of your clumsy button mashing and messy coordination with the joysticks.

Rindo can’t help the little chuckle that slips through his lips at your awkward controls. He turns back to his computer, leaning back as he gets ready to edit an upcoming video that’s supposed to drop tonight.

But he pauses when he hears a hideous giggle. It sounds grating on his ears.

Disgust twists in his stomach.

You, his dear and naive girlfriend, do not sense the implications behind that repulsive laugh as you try to escape the mazy you’re in and finally get to the stairs like you’ve been trying to do for the past thirty minutes now.

He’s kinda glad that you stuck to gameplays with campaign stories rather than watch online matches. The harsh words you’d hear would scar you. The sickos who play those same matches have the nastiest temper and the shittiest personalities, and he’d rather have his pretty girl untainted from the revolting remarks of those shitty people because a sweet girl like you doesn’t deserve hearing those ugly words from their even uglier mouths.

“Oh, you’ve got a cute voice. I bet you’re pretty too. You got a boyfriend, Baby? I could make that cute voice moan my name all night while you bounce on daddy’s big dick.” A grimy voice fakes high-pitched moans and Rindo’s hands grip his arm rest tight, jaw stiffening into a rigid tick.

You flinch, lips pursing and eyebrows scrunching before you whip your head to Rindo, scared doe eyes clearly uncomfortable and wet—yeah, they’re fucking done—who’s already looking at you with something dark in his eyes.

He holds out his hand and you don’t waste a second giving him the controller and headpiece.

You stand up to move out of the way, but he rolls over in his gaming chair and pulls you on his lap, you go down with a squeak. Strong arms cage you in as he moves your avatar to where the disgusting fuck is, deep voice rumbling a hard chest that vibrates against you.

“Yeah she does have a boyfriend, so fuck off.” Rindo finds the shithead soon enough, nimble fingers taking him out of the maze you were stuck in and up the stairs where the others wait.

They scramble when Rindo makes a beeline for the piece of shit, quickly beating him with the character’s strong fists. You chose a male avatar, and that’s probably what caught the pile of horse shit off guard, but alas, human waste needs to be discarded.

He leaves the match, arms squeezing your sides tight from his reigned-in anger.

He sighs and buries his head in your shoulder, taking deep breathes of your shampoo to calm himself down. You bring your hands to his and rub the large bones, tracing his knuckles and the curve of his fingers.

A few minutes pass like this until you hear Rindo mumble, “you wanna play Minecraft instead?”

Your feet kick out a little in excitement and you nod, fingers jittery against his. Rindo picks his head up, small smile on his face, before he pecks your cheek and goes for your lips.

Mouth puckering and molding to your soft one, his tongue slides in and lick yours, twisting and turning with the pink muscle. You mewl, his hands ghost along your stomach and it trembles, fluttering on the inside at the ticklish touch. Then he pulls back, string of spit connecting you two.

Your mouth follows his as your heavy, wet lashes softly rise, hazy eyes looking straight into dark lavender orbs and his stomach burns, but he starts up the game, and that heady daze leaves your mind as your eyes clear up and jump with excitement, head turning to the screen.

That ick you felt in your stomach earlier is long gone and you’re soaring as Rindo toggles your avatars.

Resting his chin atop your head, he guesses he can push the video back a day.

YES! GOOD! I’m going to just going to analyze the whole dinner scene, because it’s one of my favorite parts of the movie.

image

Mario and Luigi walk in, and immediately the whole room lights up to greet them. Despite everything that follows, one thing is clear: The Mario Brothers are happy to see their family, and the family is happy to see them.

The whole family confirms that they watched their commercial. Everyone except their mom insists the commercial was a bad idea, but the fact that they all watched it speaks to the fact that there is no indifference regarding Mario and Luigi’s dream. They’re eager to see where this endeavor leads, even if they think it’s going to end in failure.

The moment Mario and Luigi sit down at the table, their uncles begin laying into them like it’s open season on financially struggling plumbers. Just full blown, no-holds-barred roast mode on their nephews.

image
image

Mario is on the defensive, but he doesn’t get angry, he’s just trying to argue his side. Clearly this is typical behavior for Uncle Tony and Uncle Arthur. They’re loud, overly honest, and obnoxiously confident in their opinions. Uncle Arthur, thankfully, has his wife to keep him in check. Uncle Tony, however, who is seated next to poor Luigi, is an absolute menace.

Luigi ignores all the teasing. He is only interested in getting food, but this is not an easy task. Tony’s verbal arguments are all directed at Mario, but Luigi is the one who gets prodded and shoved around, and that makes getting dinner next to impossible.

Luigi attempts to serve himself salad, attempts to ask for a roll, attempts to eat the mushrooms being put on his plate, and at every turn he’s either pushed away or talked over. He is clearly very soft spoken compared to the other men in his family, and never quite had the strength to stand up for himself… after all, everyone means well, they just lack self awareness. It isn’t worth the fight.

Thankfully, Luigi’s mom comes to the rescue, and puts a bowl of soup in front of her boy. She’s the queen of the caretaker role, making sure all the loose ends are tied up and that everybody eats.

But on the flip side, it’s interesting to note that once the uncles start tearing into Mario, Mario’s Dad serves him up a plate of food. He may have just been serving the person next to him because that was the polite thing to do, but I have a theory…

I think that this wasn’t the first night that Mario and his uncles went at each other. I think Mario’s Dad read the room, and figured that if Mario was going to spend dinner playing defense, he should at least remember to eat while doing so.

It also speaks volumes that Mario’s Dad doesn’t voice his disapproval until Mario asks for his opinion. Before then he avoids the subject and lets everyone else do the talking, but so long as he’s being questioned directly, he can’t help but be honest.

image

“I think… you’re nuts. You don’t quit a steady job for some crazy dream.” This sounds like a voice of experience. Mario’s Dad has the figure of someone who has worked physical labor for a good portion of his life (look the size of those arms). He may have had dreams of his own when he was younger, but he had a wife and kids to worry about, and family took priority.

Speaking of family taking priority: “… and the worst part? You’re bringing your brother down with you.” That settles it. The conversation has gone from a casual roast session to dead serious. The entire room falls quiet as Mario puts down his fork and storms off.

“What’d I say?” Everybody at the table (except the niece, she’s long since checked out) gives Mario’s Dad different versions of the look™. Uncle Tony and Uncle Arthur have the same “Jesus Christ bro, you didn’t have to go there” expression, and Luigi just looks hurt on Mario’s behalf. His Dad, however, is just confused.

He didn’t get the gravity of what he said. His relationship with his own brothers– loudmouthed schmucks who call their own shots – is completely alien to what Luigi and Mario have. He probably knows Mario is protective of Luigi, but he doesn’t realize the depth of responsibility Mario feels for him. Anyone can see that Luigi is loyal to his brother, but Mario alone knows how loyal he is, and the implication that he’s betraying that loyalty is intensely painful.

image

I doubt Uncle Arthur and Uncle Tony truly relate to Mario and Luigi’s relationship either, but they’ve probably teased Mario enough to understand one thing: bringing Luigi into it is a line you do not cross.

Conclusion:

There is a lot of love in the Mario family.

Uncle Tony and Uncle Arthur are definitely the most insufferable of the bunch, but there is no malice in their teasing. While they are brash and overbearing, it’s all in good fun, and they get visibly uncomfortable when things go too far and someone actually ends up hurt.

Luigi seems to take after his mother; kind, nonconfrontational, and happily invested in a supporting role. While his Mom cares for and assists the family, Luigi cares for and assists his brother, both emotionally and in his business ventures.

Mario, in the meantime, takes after his Dad, who appears to be the oldest of the three brothers. He doesn’t always think before speaking, but he isn’t constantly running his mouth like Arthur or Tony, and acts with the gravity of someone who bears a lot of responsibility. He doesn’t quite “get” his sons, but he knows enough to see that Luigi follows his brother everywhere, and Mario does not always think before jumping into things. Despite what Mario may believe, his Dad doesn’t see him as a “joke” so much as he sees him as an impulsive young man who doesn’t grasp the consequences of his actions. But Mario does understand the consequences of his actions, he just dreams big, and… thanks to Luigi… actually has the support he needs to pursue those dreams.

this is everything right now

todoroki said in his flashback that his siblings “lived in a different world” from him, and it gave me this angsty fic idea of

what if his siblings resented him? what if endeavor treated shouto in all the right ways in front of the other kids, bought him all these expensive toys and sent him on all these expensive “vacations”, hired him all these tutors to keep his grades up, bragged to everyone in earshot about how proud he was of his shouto.

and fuyumi and natsuo and touya grew up thinking that shouto was the pampered golden child, the only one “worthy” of their father’s love. and they hated him for it.

shouto doesn’t bother to make contact with his siblings because they happily left him behind. while he was suffering in solo training, being beat to hell and back by endeavor, they were off having fun and playing games with each other. they never invite him with them to the playground or playing tag, and he resents them for it.

shouto grows up a stranger in his own house, and it’s so lonely that when he moves into the dorms, it’s like an entirely different world.

but then shouto has to come back home for christmas holidays, and maybe some of his friends come over for emotional support. because they saw the way shouto was when they first met him, and they don’t want that kind of emptiness to come back into their friend’s eyes. they want to protect him.

and as fuyumi and natsuo watch shouto interact with his friends, they see an entirely different side of their brother that they never knew about. they see how soft and vulnerable he is, how much like a child his age is supposed to be. they see a stranger that they might like to know.

there’s no trace of endeavor in his eyes or in his laugh or in the way he talks.

but then their father comes into the room, and shouto just locks up, goes all stiff and cold and distant, just like he was all throughout their childhoods. his friends subtly close rank around him, casually moving so they’re between shouto and his father. like they’re protecting him.

and, finally, fuyumi and natsuo understand.

TWST Summer Camp AU - Night Raven Camp Infodump

General Information:

Night Raven Camp is a 9 week summer camp that runs through the whole summer, accepting campers from age 16 to 18. Crowley is head counselor and the rest of the NRC faculty are counselors for various activities. The kitchen ghosts work in the mess hall, but they aren't ghosts for reasons explained in the next paragraph.

This au takes place in an alternate version of Twisted Wonderland, where the geography is all the same but most of the population believes magic to be just a fairytale. So the camp is on Sage's Island but the boys aren't mages and the camp isn't like a prestigious magic camp or anything. Beastmen are still a thing (mostly because I can't stand the thought of humanizing the Savanaclaw boys), however fae and merfolk are usually thought of more myth than truth so the octatrio have to be careful with their potions and Malleus, Lilia, and Sebek use fae glamours to hide their inhuman features. The fae are the only ones that have some innate magic.

All campers are separated into 7 cabins (based on the dorms obvs), with each cabin having a cabin leader (the housewardens). I've messed with the order of the dorms to make them match the rainbow because I gave them all team colors

Cabin 1: Heartslabyul Team Color: Red

Cabin 2: Scarabia Team Color: Orange

Cabin 3: Savanaclaw Team Color: Yellow

Cabin 4: Diasomnia Team Color: Green

Cabin 5: Ignihyde Team Color: Blue

Cabin 6: Pomefiore Team Color: Indigo

Cabin 7: Octavinelle Team Color: Purple

The camp is on a lake, RSA (Royal Sword Adventure-Camp) is a rival camp on the other side of the lake because I think it's funny.

The woods that the camp is in have vague supernatural/magic/paranormal qualities (akin to gravity falls?).

Character Headcanons:

Riddle: - has printed out the entire camp handbook + has like 3 wilderness survival guides that he follows to the letter - convinced his mom to let him come to camp by telling her it was a good learning opportunity

Trey: - helps out in the kitchens at mealtimes so he can get special privileges to use the kitchen for baking - carries a first aid kit around 24/7 in case anyone gets hurt - makes camping puns far more often than he will admit

Cater: - does not do well without reliable phone service - but he's adapted since it's his third year at camp - now, instead of his phone, he's got a polaroid camera that he brings everywhere with him and the heartslabyul cabin walls are absolutely COVERED in pictures - obviously still takes a billion pictures on his phone, he just likes to be able to put some of them somewhere (hence the polaroid camera) - has an acoustic guitar that he pulls out almost every night at the campfire

Ace: - his brother went to camp a couple years ago and told him a bunch of far fetched stories about the woods - he now uses those stories to terrify everyone around the campfire (it's a joint effort with Lilia, who also enjoys scaring people)

Deuce: - his mom sent him to camp so he'd stay out of trouble - but now he feels bad for making his mom sad - so he's made an oath to himself to just be really good at camp to make her proud

Leona: - he's still 20 in this au and just no one wants to question why he's still coming to camp - he just shows up and Crowley doesn't care enough to try and stop him - he's really just doing it because it's an excuse to not be home

Ruggie: - picks up little odd jobs around the camp for extra snacks or just some cash - like lifeguarding, activity cleanup, helping out with cooking, etc. - as a result, has a constant stash of granola bars and candy

Jack: - is here simply because he genuinely enjoys camping - uses the activities as physical training - puts his all into every activity, even the ones that aren't physical (like crafts)

Azul: - refuses to participate in any water activities because he doesn't want to put on a swimsuit - always knows what the activity is going to be the next day and no one knows where he gets the information - runs a snack trading system for smuggled goods and strategy tips

Jade: - leads nature hikes that even the counselors didn't have planned - *read: drags Azul and Floyd into the woods at randoms times without telling anyone so he can show them cool mushrooms

Floyd: - likes to light his marshmallows on fire before putting them in his s'mores - has a bad habit of taking swims in his eel form at night (sure hope no one catches him doing that)

Kalim: - over enthusiastic about every single activity - but hates the competitive ones and ends up helping the other cabins - the only activity he's really good at is crafts - makes friendship bracelets for everyone else at camp (Jamil has many and he must wear them)

Jamil: - hates bugs, which is really fun when you're in the woods - constantly has to ask people to remove bugs from the cabin - usually Kalim offers but then ends up befriending the bugs and making Jamil's panic worse by trying to introduce them - carries around a first aid kit 24/7 but it's specifically for Kalim

Vil: - has to leave the campfire early every night to account for his extensive skincare routine to combat being in the woods all the time - carries around a hairbrush and emergency makeup on him at all times

Rook: - is having a great time at camp, even if Vil is constantly yelling at him for neglecting his skincare - sometimes also gets dragged away from the campfire early to either help Vil with his skincare or be forced to do his own - excels at manhunt - dominates archery competitions and can be found at the archery range if he's not busy doing something else

Epel: - wanted to come to camp to get stronger - is very angry about his cabin placement and doesn't understand how the cabin system works and why he can't just go to a different one (Crowley refuses to elaborate on his cabin placements) - pretends to hate crafting activities but is actually really good at them

Idia: - why is he here? - you think this boy would go outside willingly?? - Ortho probably convinced him to get him to make friends or something... - somehow manages to check his games even without internet or a phone signal but he will not reveal his secrets

Ortho: - not a robot - got in a really bad accident (akin to what actually happened) when he was 8 and Idia's tech is pretty much the only thing keeping him alive - other than that is actually a normal 16 year old just excited about his first year at camp - even if Idia is constantly worried about him - aroace because I still refuse to ship him with anyone even if he isn't a child anymore - plus I feel like he would be anyway - drawing of him

Malleus: - Lilia dragged him to camp, claiming it would be good for him to interact with society more often - people constantly forget to tell him about the activities, or he's missing when they try to - can often be found stargazing late at night down by the docks

Lilia: - is certainly too old to be going to summer camp, but no one needs to know that - only came along because Malleus refused to go alone, then he decided it was fun - has to restrain himself from using magic during sport activities (though people have claimed to see him floating during a particularly intense game of volleyball) - helps Ace with his ghost stories around the campfire by adding facts that he's definitely just making up and aren't true

Silver: - is here because Lilia convinced him it would be fun - can sometimes be found at the archery range hitting dummies with a sword that no one knows where he got - has a bad habit of falling asleep in the middle of activities, especially crafting ones - it's rare if he DOESN'T fall asleep on someone's shoulder at the campfire (usually Sebek's) - sometimes random woodland creatures will come up to him with flowers or hang out on his shoulders and everyone is very confused by it

Sebek: - came to camp because Malleus goes to camp - takes every activity way too seriously and will turn anything into a competition, even if it shouldn't be - tends to bring a book to the campfire and read by the light of the flames - unless he's telling stories about the fae and/or Malleus that no one believes - sometimes spars with Silver with a sword that, once again, no one knows where he got

Yuu: - I think Yuu will be some variety of relative to Crowley - they don't have a cabin because they aren't technically going to the camp - magic doesn't effect them for some reason so they can still see the faes true forms and grim looks nice and cuddly - lmk if anyone has any better ideas for their role, I'm open to suggestions

Grim: - running idea for grim is that he's a fully corrupted monster living in the woods - this is also the main point of the vague plot I have forming in my head for if I ever write a cohesive fanfic - Yuu has adopted him as their pet cat even though everyone else is very concerned about the eldritch monster hanging around the camp

Other Points:

If I write this into a fanfic it will most definitely have some ships in it, I'm just trying to work out exactly which ones to use. If anyone wants to talk to me about that, please feel free to

Also, if anyone else wants to get in on this au, whether it be by drawing or writing, I would feel honored

Again, my ask box is open for any and all discussion about this au (or anything else really, I'm trying to interact with people more). If anyone's got fun little scenarios or headcanons hmu. I'd even take little writing requests to help me flesh out the au!

Sorry for the really long infodump...
