You ever get on a kick and end up obsessed over some weird shit for a while?

Yeah, that's me with mythological figures right now.

Like the myth where Ra has to rip out his own eye to make the egyptian war godess Sekhmet, who goes on a rampage killing all of humanity until Ra realizes "ah shit, that's probably bad." then Ra has to subdue her with wine and blood until she's so hungover she doesn't wanna kill anyone for a while.

Or the norse myth where Thor is tricked into drinking from the ocean cause he thinks it's booze, and lowers the world's water supply just cause he's determined to get fuckin hammered.

Or in Journey to the West (I'm counting it in the same way I'd count King Arthur and Beowulf in this conversation) where Heaven's top priority at one point is making sure Sun Wukong isn't bored cause they know he can just kick all their asses. And that's near the beginning of his journey.
