i have sooooooooooo many thoughts abt pete’s physical appearance that i can’t even begin to form a coherent thought esp bc ik it’s probably tied to a lot of……..questionable bl tropes regarding uke/seme and top/bottom but also regardless of the reasoning behind it their decision to maintain his soft and unassuming physical appearance really works for the character bc it emphasizes the complexity that build put into pete, but also bc it’s nice to see a genuinely badass character like pete not be hyper-beefed up, but just look like a normal guy
the fact that felwinter tried so fucking hard to be a good person only for it to be stripped away from him by basically his father
sometimes I remember Felwinter and his sheer want for something better, for the world, for humanity and for himself too
he fought and he died and he made friends, as hard as it might have been for him, and he tried. so much. to be good, even when he went against his friends and compatriots and the Iron Decree because he believed he was doing something for the correct reasons
he tried to be somebody, and somebody good at that, so hard
and it was all taken away because of childish jealousy, the Iron Lords reduced to near nothing and all their work left behind
