An AU where Hunter's last name really is Bloodwilliams. He is the son of the previous golden gard and a witch/vampire/bat-demon. I decided that the Bloodwilliams have a tradition with having gems as middle names.

I've seen other people calling the previous golden guard Orion, and in this AU, he changed his last name and took his wife's because no one wants the same last name as Belos. He also uses a magic sword instead of a staff, just bacause I wanted to draw a sword.

I love the thought that child witches have to grow into their ears :)

So I was thinking about how grimwalkers are born from the ground, then started to imagine how they must have started out small (picture from the book) and Belos probably had to start somewhere. They are basically weird mandrakes. So here is Belos repotting his baby grimwalker-mandrake. Inspired by that scene from Harry Potter.

Hunter and Flapjack

My first thought about Hunter's brown eyes was that Evelyn probably had brown eyes and he now looks like a mix of Evelyn and Caleb. Also Flapjack had brown eyes. I do hope he can use magic now even if technically he is still the same ,Flapjack was made of palistromwood and so is Hunter since he is a grimwalker. maybe this will unlock his powers or something. I wonder if Hunter will be able to access Flapjacks memories. that would be cool since Flapjack apparently knew a lot of what happened in the past.

Grimwalker lore theory.

What if grimwalkers actually are an early experiment on recreating titans or creating a vessel for the Titan. Grimwalkers have powerful lungs from the stonesleepers and could probably roar similar to how King does. Stonesleepers is also creatures that evolved early on on the titan and maybe that makes them more powerful since the titan probably had more magic at that time. They also have the ability to hibernate and turn into stone. this is an ability that I think titans also have since they can turn into islands after they "dies" . The heart in Belos throneroom is still beating som maybe the titan is still alive in some way.

Grimwalkers are also immune to the effects of the boiling sea due to their selkiedomus skin, something the titans also are since the apparntly walked around and lived in it.

Grimwalkers are made out of palistromwood that can create "life". All the life on the boiling isles were "born" from the titans corpse. palistrom is also really rare and is blue - titans blood is also blue - maybe palistrom only grow over places with titansblood, so that means that grimwalkers have titans blood in them. They also emphasize the eyes of the grimwalkers. They are red/pink just like Kings.

I feel like Dana probably owns the wolf t-shirt Hunter makes and just decided to put it in the show because she loves it so much. It looks like one of those T-shirts you bought when you were younger, 3 sizes too big so that you would never grow out of it and its now really worn and faded, but you still loves it, its still your favorite and you now uses it to sleep in because you don't want to trow it away, ever.

She probably walk around at home chilling with her cool wolf t-shirt and her watermelon pants.

Philip/Belos reaction to possessing Hunters body.

What do you think went trough Philip's head when he possessed Hunter and changed his outfit?

I'm a little sad we didn't get to see more of Hunter showing off his knowledge during the timeskip. He was the Golden guard and the head of the emperors coven (only a short time) so he should be more competent then the others with this kind of stuff. I know he lost a lot of his confidence and thats why he is a little in the background and let Luz or the others handle things instead. The others are still students and he is, as said multiple times, a child prodigy and older then them. Also I don't think Belos would have let Hunter be anything other then the best so...

We learned in hunting palismen that he is very knowlegdable about wild magic and that he helped Belos fix the broken portal-door. He used a mechanical staff as well so he should know about artificial magic and mechanics. He would have had access to a lot more information and classified stuff than the others as well. He is an excelent fighter and did beat kikimora, eda and luz, multiple guards and only "lost" to Amilty because of he had a lot of disadvanteges. He still got the key though. He figured out a new type of magic and a new staff in seconds. I hope he gets some of his confidence back.

If Belos tries to enter Hunter's mind again;

After everything Hunter has been through, and after all that trauma, someone needs to give him at least one support/therapy dog. So I gave him 3. One husky since he loves wolves so much, called Captain Avery. One golden retriever since they are the friendliest dogs ever and he needs all the hugs and love he can get, called Lucy, since she reminds him of Luz. And lastly one corgi called Pancakes in honor of flapjack.

Maybe the boiling isles have hellhounds or something like dire wolves. Hunter needs like a whole pack of therapy wolves.

I wonder what happened to him? he looks so malnourished and tired. Isn't he supposed to be happily married with a kid on the way, why does he look so sick. Did he look like this the last time Belos saw him when he died or something? Makes you wonder why this is the version of Caleb Hunter sees. I mean, he looks worse than Hunter and that says a lot.

then you gonna wanna add a cup "fake confidence". then add some TRAUMA.

then I usually add one whole "friendly conversation". Then we gonna add some TRAUMA. then just to add some character, we're going to add some TRAUMA. then I usually add one half …..of TRAUMA.

now it wouldn't really be a character without some friends. So we gonna add some TRAUMA, take some Friends, dip them in TRAUMA, trow them in the mix, then add some TRAUMA. and then, only then… can we add some TRAUMA and blend.

Now offscreen/during a timeskip we actually went back and added some TRAUMA.

Once everything is going well, show everyone your character, add some TRAUMA.

and now you can FINALLY... add some TRAUMA, and enjoy your show…………

Grimwalker theory:

What if Grimwalkers originally are a type of spectral dog/wolf demon or a type of shapeshifters like the basilisks. That's why they have so many books about them. Belos may have been able to create fake ones, but they have to have excisted as a species at some point for them to be extinct and have legends about them. There simply can't be an entire species that exist only with galderstones as hearts. there aren't enough of them (they are super rare).

walker = person/ someone who walks on two legs?

It would have been really cool if Hunter's blood was either green like a palisman or blue like titans'blood since he is a grimwalker.

We haven't actually seen him bleed, just scratches. He does have selkidomus skin, but his heart is made out of galdorstone so the idea that it should pump blood normally is a little weird. Also the rest of his body other than his lungs and maybe his bone/bones(bone of ortet) is made out of palistrom wood. But both him and the palismen seems to eat normally even if they don't really have normal organs. maybe it's just a demon/magic thing. who knows.

I really thought that they would use Hunters blood to make a new portal ever since we saw the trailer with the rebus and Hunter with his hurt hand.

I enjoy the idea of trans Hunter and all that. Like really I see the appeal. The thing is though it’s never sense to me. So spoilers for season 3 I think but he’s a grimwalker. He was made from wood and all these other components. He was very intentionally modeled after a man. Now Caleb could have been trans but that’s harder to believe in this scenario just with what we’ve seen. Even so it would a strange and very possibly disturbing choice to intentionally give the grimwalkers or even just Hunter genitals he wouldnt be comfortable with or even breasts.

I think it’s more likely that grimwalkers have no real genitals or ability to make kids. I’ve got a personal idea that they don’t even have any particular anything down there, maybe a few lumps or flaps of skin to give the idea of something but nothing that resembles anything in particular.

I also think he could still be considered trans, perhaps going through surgery or some other demon realm stuff to give himself more then physically masculine features.

There’s even a bonus thought that maybe all grimwalkers take hormones of some sort.
