Let's be honest, the fact Carrie ended up going to prom with the boyfriend of a girl who ended up forever haunted by Carrie in her dreams by the end of the film is relationship goals for all of us out there and I think the sooner we can accept this, the sooner we can go on to pursue our own uncomprehendable   sapphic horrors.

Who else watched the remake of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and wondered where the loveable childlike wonder Bubba Sawyer had went? Where are the Sawyer brothers? The people demand more cannibal brothers hijinks, give the people what they want.

Tender Is The Flesh Is A Tragedy

While 'Tender is The Flesh' is a fun read exploring a dystopian setting where the consumption of human flesh is a normal part of society, I don't consider it scary. What did catch my attention was how incredibly sad it was. Those who live as human livestock, Marco's inner monologue, the dogs (if you know, you know). All of this leaves the reader with an incredibly bleak and depressed mood and I highly recommend it 💛

Look, I know that the slashers in horror films are fun to pine over in the fandom- but I think you all are sleeping on Delores Claiborne's milf energy. She was a loyal friend to Vera, despite Vera being unbelievably cold and rude for most of the movie, she was a great mother to Selene, and of course was an absolute badass throughout the book (and movie). Delores Claiborne needs a larger fandom. 

Also there needs to be more Delores x Vera fanfiction out there buuuut you didn't hear that from me-
