My reunion Hermie design!

I hc that therapy and getting to actually live a life outside of highschool has gotten Hermie to a point where knows and likes who he is and just dressed up as himself now! And he differentiates himself from the first Hermie from doing some generic ass hobby like pottery instead of theater. (although it's a loss for the entire industry) at least at first, maybe he gets into it in another way and learns that it's okay for him to act and have fun and he can still be his own person :)

(Y'all I just want him to be happy, he deserves it)

Btw because of my Oakworthy roots I do believe that even tho they don't have much of an relationship in highschool because it's somewhat awkward to rekindle a will-they-won't-they-partnership with the exact clone of your dead first love when you're also in fucking highschool and teenage troubles are up your ass and also a shit ton of trauma. So I hc that at the reunion while Hermie's taking a break from DJing (Idk what you call it) he notices Norm in some corner, because he's having a pretty hard time with all the memories resurfacing, and sits down next to him to talk for a little while. There's a certain warmth and security in the new Hermie that kinda helps ground Normal and he cracks a genuinely comforted smile at Hermie, actually directed to him, not who Norm used to need him to be, and his heart skips a beat.

I feel like I need to write a fic about this now.
