You covered your whole body with soft bedsheets as you just finished your night skincare routine. Tomorrow is a really important day, you could even say the most important in your whole life. You were finally going to meet your best friend, Heeseung, whom you met thanks to similar hobbies. Unfortunately for both of you, the distance that split you up was much bigger to your dismay. His mornings were your late-night hours and your school hours were his bedtime. If it was somebody else than him this whole friendship wouldn’t last this long, yet it was almost one and a half a year since you met him.

For the first few months, you could only imagine how he looked but it didn’t interfere with you falling for him completely. Once you video-called for the first time you needed to hide your pink-tinted cheeks and uncontrollable smile of adoration. He turned out to be a perfect guy not only personality-wise but also by his gentle facial features.

Your phone suddenly buzzed a few times and you quickly picked it up to see texts from Heeseung.

You smiled at your phone for a few more minutes when he told you it was about time to check in his baggage and that he’ll text you once they take off, even though you’ll be deep in your sleep already.

But you stayed up, anticipating his message to help your racing heart calm down. Once the text notification dinged in your quiet bedroom you could finally rest thinking about all the things you were going to show him.

You woke up much earlier than you were supposed to. The first thing you did was check where he currently was. You had plenty of time but already started your morning routine and dressed comfortably. Walking back and forth you kept on checking where his flight was like a maniac. When it finally said he’ll land in an hour or so you took your car keys and made your way to the airport.

Since it was the beginning of summer vacation many people gathered to either pick up their kids from student exchange or to go on their getaways.

Heeseung’s plane already landed which meant he was about to come out with his luggage any moment. What seemed like the last moment to think about it, thoughts of what you should do flooded your mind. Should you hug him? Or just wave at him? Or maybe give him a high five?

Your train of thought stopped once you heard your name being called. You looked up and saw a silhouette of your best friend walking up to you with open arms. Without noticing it you realized you were in his arms, in his warm and comforting embrace you dreamt about. None of you knew for how long you stood there hugging but when you finally pulled out he spoke teasingly: “Hope you were daydreaming about me just a second ago.”

“You wish.”

The time you had spent together was filled with laughter and sharing interesting stories that definitely sounded better in person. There was no moment of silence, and even if there was one it was a comfortable type when you could gather your thoughts and start a conversation again. Everything seemed to be so easy around him, so comfortable, so perfect. You tried not to think about saying goodbye to him, you really didn’t want to let that thought in, but it was unavoidable. Whenever you were silent you fought the urge to cry, wanting to savor this moment for as long as you can at the same time.

Both of you sat in the cafe, thirsty for some caffeine. It was one of your favorites - you came here almost every day to study, read or just chill in the fuss and smell of coffee. Soon the barista called your names to collect your orders and he immediately stood up saying he’ll get them for you.

“Thank you,” you smiled as you thanked him, taking a cup from him.

In response he just smiled back at you, sending you an indefinite amount of butterflies. He sat next to you this time, not in front of you, on the other side of the table. He showed you some pictures of him and his friends, his hometown, his work, and his hobbies. You stayed silent, listening intently to him sometimes forgetting not to stare too much, but people around you already seemed to know how much you adored the boy.

Soon, comfortable silence embraced you and you just enjoyed each other’s presence in the slight chaos of a busy coffee shop. Suddenly, you felt his head softly lay on your shoulder, taking you off guard and making you flustered. Apart from that, the only time you touched was a hug at the airport and unintentional hand brushes while you wandered around the city.

Then, it hit you.

“Oh Hee, you must be tired. Do you want me to walk you home?” you asked looking at the top of his head.

He slowly looked up at you with a smile.

“Lovely, don’t be silly.”

You froze at the spot. Throughout your friendship, you realized how a flirty person he was, but he never called you those cute nicknames. Not knowing how to react you just remained silent and averted your gaze from him.

Heeseung could feel how his cheeks burned at the slipped nickname he only dreamed of calling you. He thanked the universe that you didn’t look at him, since all you would have seen would be his flustered and embarrassed face.

Two weeks passed quickly, way too quickly. You were currently in each other’s embrace savoring the last minutes you were about to spend together. None of you knew when will be the next time you will see each other. Will it be a month, half a year, or maybe whole 12 months? Both of you had your own lives, you were busy with college, and Heeseung was immersed in his work.

Both of your hearts were beating so fast as if they were racing with each other. People around you watched as you and he tried to contain tears, with success. Both of you very much aware how none of you wanted to part ways.

What you didn’t know was how big of a hesitation and battle Heeseung had in his mind. He wasn’t blind, nor was he stupid. He saw how you looked at him, how much adoration your eyes held whenever he caught you staring. As much as he wanted to shout out to the world how he adores and cherishes you, he couldn’t. The time he spent with you made him sure he loved you truly with his whole heart, but it also helped him realize how difficult it would be to not be around you while in a relationship. For the last time, he fought the urge to leave a sweet and chaste kiss on your forehead and pulled out, faking the brightest smile he could.

You wished to see that smile every day for the rest of your life. You were so sure of him that it hurt to the core of your heart. Why does he have to live so far away? Is this a test? Or were you just not made for each other?

“I guess I have to go,” Heeseung suddenly said.

You tried to smile but failed miserably. You didn’t want to smile, not when he was leaving you, after making your two weeks the best you’ve ever had.

“I already miss you.”

“I miss you too,” you whispered as he slowly wandered off still facing you. He gave you one last smile and wave, crushing both of your hearts into small pieces.

“It’s so unfair.”

Chapter one - Target Locked.

"Whoa you're still here? New record! " Sakura exclaimed, "I'm waiting for a certain someone, but he literally flirts with everyone but me!?" I cry out, "Well, who is it?" she asked, "That guy over there " I pointed to the guy in a black dress shirt.

I know she'd know him, it's her party, plus she knows almost everyone in this large school, when I say large I mean large like 3 Rungrado May Day Stadiums put together.. "Wow, no shame, I wouldn't be surprised if your finger shoots a lighting bolt at him. "

"But anyway that's Hee, Lee Heesung. " she said as if I'd know the guy, I tilted my head confused, "Girl! You want to be a model and you don't know him!?" said surprised, kind of amused but surprised overall, "His parents own Silkoria, you know? the brand that you want to model for so badly? "

My eyes widen, "WHAT?!"

So that's why he look so valuable, so out of my league but he doesn't need to know that, " I heard he also models for the company and designs some of their sellers. Oh! and he studies Entrepreneurship. "

Nevermind, I lost hope after that statement, It's too risky, and if I ever model for Silkoria I don't want to see an ex-fling being my boss, it's weird. Plus if his parents found out, I'd be dead meat too.

Shit! I shouldn't have finished that beer, the world is going 360, I took out my cellphone and tried to call for my friends but it suddenly died, I opened my bag, "Fuck! the power bank's with Chaewon. "

Suddenly I heard, "You okay? " I turned around, my vision's blurry probably because of crying, I don't even know why I'm crying, I noticed it was one of guys that Heesung was hanging out with "Do I look okay?"

"I'm drunk, probably having a meltdown, and my friends left me here. " i blurted out, he cringed at my actions, "Yah! Jake what're you doing? " I heard someone shout, god my ears are now ringing.

God, Heesung really? I rolled my eyes as I stood up and tried to walk away, but my world is upside-down right now, I wanted to curse out my mind but they'd think I'm crazy.

Suddenly my mind went blank and my glued shut before my consciousness was also taken away, I felt a pair of hands catching me.

Chapter two - Thank you, I guess.

I woke up expecting Sakuras room, but this pdoesn't look like her room, last time I saw her room it was colorful, not monochrome maybe renovation?

I rolled my eyes at my stupid thoughts, I tried to roll to the other side but then I felt a body beside me, then a man's groan...

Wait.. What the? I don't remember going home with a dude, I gave up on flirting when Kkura told me about that Heesung guy, who's this?! All I remember is taking my last sip of beer?!

I stopped my thoughts when the guy finally let me face him.. Wait what?! I blink a few more times, just to make sure that I wasn't still drunk.

Lee Heesung?! Shirtless? Maybe naked, with the comforter I can't really tell?!

"How did I get here? Where am I? Did you kidnap me? " I blurted out everything in my thoughts, "Good morning to you too. " He said in a rasp morning voice getting up from the bed.

"Answer my questions! " I followed him as he left his bedroom, "First of all, I had no choice but to bring you to my apartment I couldn't leave you there alone, Secondly Jake was about to take you to his apartment but I don't trust him, so I took you. "

He said all that in a calm tone, "Did we have sex? " I asked directly, he looked at me amused, "Miss, no obviously not, I know what consent is, plus you passed out drunk what do you expect? "

"What if I wasn't? " I ask out of curiosity, "What? " he asked, surprised "If I wasn't drunk or passed out, would you give me a chance? " Look it was just out of curiosity I wasn't really gonna sleep with him.

he moved closer, his face inches from mine, "Of course. " he smirked as my face flushed with color, "Hm, well do you want breakfast? " he asked this is so embarrassing, I want the ground to swallow me up now.

"Anything would be great.. " he hummed and started getting everything he needed for breakfast.. Bacon and eggs.. That's it? I'm so hungry.. My stomach is so empty.. Okay what did I expect? A buffet? Whatever.

We both ate in silence, this is awkward uhmmm, "Thank you, I guess. For uh taking care of me when you don't even know my name.. " he smiled as an acknowledgement.

While we were eating we introduced ourselves and made small conversations. He was really attractive that's all I'm gonna say..

Chapter three - Sugar Baby.

After we ate he gave me back my phone which was fully charged, I thanked him and saw all the texts my friends sent me, I sent them a message of how I was safe and they responded in less than a minute. I'm dead.

"Uh I need to go to NB6, my friends dorm is there. " he chuckled "I'll drop you off but you still need to cover up first." I noticed that I was still wearing my top from last night which isn't really campus friendly.

he then gave me a hoodie which was pretty big on me, "thanks I'll give it back. " he chuckled amusedly, "Sure, let's get you back to your friends."

I realized he wasn't staying in campus rather he had his own apartment, I guess it makes sense the dorms are a bit strict and he's rich.

We went down to the parking lot "So uh, which one do you wanna ride? " he asked, "huh?" I was confused we we're in front of a Tesla so I suppose this is his car?

He looked at a line of cars, there was a Ferrari, Mustang, Mercedes, BMW, and a Camaro, and of course the Tesla in front of us "Uh, any will do. " he nodded

He guided me in the passenger seat, he even opened the door for me, I know the bare minimum but still I got butterflies in my stomach.

As we drove out of the apartment complex I noticed the name of the apartment complex Koralex oh, his parents owns this complex too...

He's driving in silence so it was really awkward so I decided to break the silence "So uhm, do you have a girlfriend?" he scoffed, "That's the first thing you wanna know about me?"

"Yeah, so do you? " I asked seriously, "No, not yet. " how!? I mean he's so fucking attractive, don't you think he'd have a relationship by now, "How about you? Do you have a boyfriend?" he asked.

"I don't do boyfriends." I told him honestly. Okay no matter how hot he is, I'm not ready for a serious relationship, I only want the thrill plus I'm still young and beautiful.

Oh maybe he's not the type to commit, and I'm guessing we have the same reason. "I heard you study Entrepreneurship, from Kkura." he nodded, "I do, I have multiple goals in life and this course so happens to be connected to all of that. "

"How about you? What's your course? " he asked, "Architecture. " I answered frankly, "Oh, so you want to be an architect?" he asked, "Yes and No. "

he tilted his head in confusion, "Well I do want to be an architect buy my number one dream is to be a model! But if doesn't work then I'll just be a Architect but if I'm too unlucky I'll just be a sugar baby. "

He laughed at what I said, god even his laugh is attractive, "but I'll also take being a stay at home wife for a rich CEO. " I smiled innocently, "I though you don't do boyfriends? what you only do husbands?"

Humorous. But I still laughed, We entered NB6 and immediately saw my friends, "I think I'll be okay here, my friends are already there. " I looked at where my friends were sitting and they looked a bit confused.

Maybe because I was with Lee Heesung but whatever, he smiled "Okay." and he was about to walk away but I stopped him, "Will I ever see you again?" he smile grew brighter, "Sure princess, whenever you want. " he held my thigh, I cleared my throat "How can I contact you?"

He held his palm out, so I got my phone from my purse, he immediately put his phone number and called his own phone just to be sure and gave me back my phone, oh he even put in his own contact number, 'Sugar Daddy' my eyes widen, I giggled "Why just why?" I asked in disbelief.

"Just predicting my future. "He winked, "Bye careful princess, see you soon. "

I immediately walked in our dorm room with the brightest smile on my face "Yah! I'm here!" I kind of shout, as I come face to face with my friends "We know we saw you with that hot guy, who was that? " Chaewon asked.

"That was probably Heesung! " Kkura answered as she bought some coffee, "OMG, really?! " Eunchae called out, "Ah! Our youngi is so lucky! " Yunjin added.

"Yeah it's him and, I know.. ' I drank coffee as the rest of them converse which I tune out, I scroll back to their chats last night.

RIDE OR DIE

Eunchae 🐱: Unnies! I can't find Yunjin-unnie and Youngi-unnie

Chaewon 🐯 : Oh, Yunjin already went home with Zuha, but I'm not so sure about Chaeyoung.

Sakura 🌸: Youngi's probably hooking up with someone, it's not really a suprise

Zuha 🩰: Me and Yunjin just got home, she's passed out btw.

As I scrolled down more I realized how Kkura really was very much worried for me last night, I usually text so I get it.

"Yah! Youngi did you guys have sex? You know I was worried, but when we saw you with Hee I didn't mind. " Kkura asked, "I was safe but, be worried about my ehem cause it didn't get fucked, bad trip. " I answered.

Chapter four - He's Here!

Time Flies. It's another friday night but this time I have no time for bar hopping, bad trip I have to finish a few plates that are due next Monday so I can have the weekend off and party!

I went for a break and decided to get a snack from our pantry, when my phone buzzed, Heesung texted me, I quickly opened his chat.

From: Sugar Daddy

My friend Jake's throwing a party Kkura is invited are you coming too?

I immediately ran to Kkuras room, "Yah! You're invited to one of Heesung's friends party and you didn't tell me? " she looked stunned, but then switched to a teasing manner "oh~ interested are we? "

"Oh come on, of course! " I exclaimed, "I was about to bring you but you said you were gonna do your plates so I let you be. " Kkura explained.

"I changed my mind, give me 15 minutes. " I heard her laugh as I rushed out of the room.

I immediately ran to my room to find a 'decent' outfit, I decided on a dark red long sleeved satin dress, which I paired with my black Versace platform heels.

I tried my best to do decent make up, when my phone buzzed again.

From: Sugar Daddy

Are you coming? I can pick you up if you are.

I immediately respond.

To: Sugar Daddy

Yeah I'm coming but you don't have to pick me up, I'll come with Kura.

From: Sugar Daddy

I don't take 'No' for an answer, give me 5

Gosh this guy is stubborn as hell, I don't even look that good rn but it will do. I walked to Kkura's room "Hey I'm ready. " I said while sitting down on her bed.

"Good, let me call a cab. " she answered, "ah No, Heesungs picking us up, I tried to say no but he insisted.. " I smiled, "oh okay, but I need to stop by somewhere where you can just go, I'll have Taehyun pick me up. " she raised her brows teasingly.

"Sure whatever you say, but come quickly I might not know anyone there. " I answered, it's not like I don't want Kkura with me but I want alone time with a certain someone. "Mhm! "

We suddenly heard the doorbell "Oh~ Someone's at the door! " she pushed me out of her room, "Go on! " she shouted.

Note: Short update kind of a filler I was planning to do more but enrollments are here and I needed to get my requirements.. Sorryyy, I promise to post longer chapters next time!

prob tried to help you but ended up spilling 3 different ingredients in a span of 4 minutes so he yelled, causing you to spill a little too, he then proceeded to fuss over you cause some flour or smth got on ur clothes

he demands kisses as payment

def takes a bunch of pictures of you baking

proudly shows off ur baked goods

once they come out of the oven he immediately eats it with no hesitation

and u have to watch him go " ha WUT HA Wt"

he would start cooking dinner or lunch while you bake

he would start rambling abt whatever and u would talk abt ur day

it's honestly one of his favorite things to do with u cause its so domestic

he would find things at the grocery store in the baking section and buy them

definitely would show u recipes that he thinks u would like
