Hachijo Island is the southernmost of Tokyo's Izu Islands and is a haven for nature lovers.

(Hachijo, old prisoner island far from Tokyo [Well City], but now it's good to go.) It's the best known part of a lesser known island chain of the Izu Islands, south of the Izu Peninsula near the capital with a distinct & beautiful culture.

These would be yet more reasons to visit the Hachijō Islands. Replicating these dishes when possible along with a virtual travel to yond islands for maximum travel experience if you can’t physically make it to Japan.
