hi! i’m ysa and i like kpop and khiphop and korean music in general. this is my first fic so i hope you enjoy this heh. i actually wrote this a while back but was too busy/not confident at all to post this at all so hehe.

the night before was blurry and unclear as you wake up in a familiar bed, you look to the side and see, a still asleep, gyujeong. memories soon rush in as you remember the happenings of the night before.

you were one of the bestest (as he says) friends of hwimin. you and him had been tight since middle school and despite the differences of your career choices, you guys still had the closest bond that many of your peers envied. you were in hwimin’s life earlier than gyujeong but it had seem that you were somewhat replaced by the said man due to the fact that the two had a lot in common. although you were close to hwimin, you don’t really get close to the others around him. you knew better than to mingle around with the fuckboys of the khiphop industry.

you don’t hate his group of friends, you just weren’t comfortable around them. you don’t have anything against them, you just couldn’t mingle with his friends because of the obvious differences you guys had. you are a star student and the top notcher of your batch all throughout your school life whereas hwimin was a boy with probably the lowest grade in your batch. many people found your friendship with hwimin weird because you kept to yourself a lot and hwimin was super noisy and talkative. the only reason why you two became close was because you needed to tutor him for extra credit and in order to help boost his grade to prevent him from going back to the same grade. long story short, you guys became like brothers and sisters from that point on(lol).

when he and gyujeong met, you were already off to an ivy league school in states. you graduated valedictorian and decided to apply for scholarship in states and got the scholarship in one of the ivy league schools you applied for. hwimin and gyujeong met in college(i dont actually know this but its a scenario lol) after having the same math class. they clicked because of their love for music production and realized they had similar styles and decided to produce together.

you and hwimin have stayed in contact even when you were in the states and he had been constantly updating you about his current activities and one of the things that he had informed you of that really stuck into your mind was that he got signed into a company, a quite well known company for that matter. you told him that you were actually going back to korea to do some training as your school had permitted you to do so. so when he heard that his best friend was coming home, he had already starting to plan for a party for the coming home of his best friend.

your coming home party was a ride to say the least. you talked a lot of people, both new and old, and there you met gyujeong. although hwimin talks about gyujeong and the yelowsmobb a lot, you never really had an idea of what they looked like until you were pushed to play 7 minutes in heaven. the party lasted for a long time yet somehow, you didn’t have the chance to talk to him at all. the game started when many of the guests had left, leaving a few of your really close friends from high school and hwimin’s really close hiphop artist friends.

when it was gyujeong’s turn to spin the bottle, you were too into your heated conversation with hwimin about which was better, tea or coffee. you didn’t realized that the bottle had stopped in front of you until hwimin screamed, “Y/N SHUT UP AND GET INSIDE THE CLOSET,” and you were basically pushed into the nearest closet with gyujeong trailing behind you and hwimin. and lets just say that it ended with a lot of hickies on your neck, disheveled clothes and hair and his number on your phone.

you had met his friends those times you would visit korea for a week or so and you really couldn’t mingle with them. however, when you decided to come back to korea for your training, it seemed like you couldn’t avoid them. your best friend was one of them so of course, you saw them more than you would’ve liked. you slowly opened up to them after the coming home party hosted by hwimin because you saw that they weren’t what you though they were. they helped hwimin with the decorations and everything because they saw how happy hwimin was when he heard you were coming home, they even thought hwimin had feelings for you which got him really pissed because, “ew, she may be a girl but it doesn’t mean that i’m instantly into her,” his words y’all.

gyujeong won’t lie, he found you extremely enchanting. though you weren’t wearing the most revealing clothes, you looked extremely sexy and beautiful. he avoided being introduced to you because he already knew how that would end, in his bed. he was, however, really happy when the 7 minutes in heaven happened because he would sort of have a reason to give you his number. he wasn’t looking for a relationship and he really wasn’t interested. though you sparked up his attention, he wasn’t interested in being with a relationship with you. maybe a physical one but an actual relationship? he didn’t want it.

you weren’t looking for a relationship either because one, you just got back and two, you weren’t here for romance, you were here to work. meeting gyujeong made you feeling things but you weren’t interested in them because you were focused on doing well here in korea, in hopes of staying here longer than you were expected to. you weren’t expecting anything with gyujeong because you knew people like him weren’t going to last long in a relationship. but the longer you stayed, the more you started to feel things for him. 

you knew better than going back to his place that one night after a party but you just couldn’t help it. the tension was just getting worse between the two of you and mix in alcohol? you get two people hurriedly getting into an uber and going back to one’s apartment.

that night, you quickly left after the activities and actually went away for some time. no one could contact you, not even hwimin and although you thought that everything would be chill with you and gyujeong, you just felt like you really hit rock bottom. you gave yourself up to him after thinking it would help you leave him, especially because you knew he didn’t love you.

a/n: thank you so much for reading this fic! i’m pretty sure there are many errors so i hope they didn’t bother you that much hehe. i’m thinking of doing this as like a semi series(? idk tbh lmao) but i’m not so sure yet and i’m kinda really busy now so i’ll probably continue this during my break if i do make this a series hehe. hope you enjoyed reading this! :)
