Cause I'm really not sure when the hell he's supposed to be referring to and I've read the book nearly three times.

All 4 of my Malloysical Tarot entries! I finished these ages ago but thought I should maybe actually post them! I think my favourite is either Challiapin. It's the cleanest, has some good line art and use of colour, plus I really like how I incorporated the original card!

sometimes i think about the way i was introduced to great comet. so last summer i went to this music theatre camp. it's a weeklong thing and at the end we perform two ensemble pieces and a solo. and for one of our ensemble pieces we did prologue. as it started out we were going to do a parody of sorts and replace the names and qualities with some of the actors'. (mine was: asher is hot, he spends his money on coffee and food). and we went through the week with this but like halfway through the week we decided to just go with the original. but we didn't change any of the blocking and looking back, now more familiar with the story, some of that and the casting just kinda funny. i (anatole) spent most of the song drinking out of an empty root beer bottle with my pal (marya) the whole thing was just an interesting time and fun to think back to.
fun story: I thought that when Dolokhov said "forced him to marry his daughter" it meant that Anatole had been forced to marry his own daughter. I was p confused but I went with it until i expressed my confusion to a friend and he's like "no ash, the landowner's daughter". Ohhhhhhh.
i listened to Great Comet of 1812 (the song) and from the first chord i was a mess. i can't stop sobbing. this show means so much to me
