teague likes history ww2 war glorifying war I love how many meanings this piece has and how they all connect to each other like glorifying war yeah but also that war never ends ‘I used to know your daddy’ is so poignant and the seductiveness of ‘death’ or more so ‘dying for glory’ everything comes together to tell a horrific story and yet most don’t really see that for some reason so then history repeats as it always does
