OR MAYBE you've been dealt a shitty hand in life and you finally find understanding with someone who has grown so close to you that you can hardly tell where you end and they begin????

And "If I die today, can you be the one who kills me?" (Vegas actively choosing Pete to be the one who kills him. Doesn't care how or if it hurts, as long as it's him and Pete in the end.)
