So random thought I had after going back and reading your giant Dream manhunt au-

But like- idk if this has been mentioned before (if it has, ignore me-) but what if they decide to do some exposure therapy so Dream won't be so scared about them hating him and to get rid of a bit of George and/or Sapnap's fear at the idea of being in his mouth-

Aka: Dream puts George and/or Sapnap into his mouth

Absolutely nothing can go wrong, right? Right? :)

Yeah!! I dunno if I have mentioned it before but they actually will try to do exposure therapy. It’s Bad’s idea and it’s mostly because Dream has gotten really nervous around them and he wants Dream to relax. He trusts Dream, knows that Dream isn’t hungry and won’t lose himself to his instincts.

In canon, it’ll mostly just be Bad finding ways to get Dream used it it. Finding things he can do that’ll get him around or in Dream’s mouth, like studying Dream’s teeth to try and figure out what his diet should be, stuff like that. Just a casual thing that Bad does.

I don’t have any plot points / incidents in mind for this but I can definitely imagine things going wrong if he did this with George or Sapnap, depending on when in the story we’re talking about. Not horribly wrong but like. . .they taste and smell more like food than Bad does. Dream would definitely drool more which would make them nervous. And maybe if he wasn’t thinking clearly he might not let them out right away which would definitely freak them out, especially George. But thankfully he has enough self-control to keep from swallowing them, at least when he isn’t hungry :)
